I only say that Gomez is a step up from St-Clair because St-Clair came to lose and do nothing. Gomez may actually give it a shot. I do understand your point and it is correct but in terms of the St-Clair performance against Khan just about anything is step up, that night was like a slow spar against a midget.

Carl has a dodgy chin but his main problem has been his nerves and focus. Sometimes he fights very well and takes alot of punishment, other times he is totally not there. I have seen a tonne of his fights live and you can tell what performance your going to get out of him before the fight even starts.

You are exactly right but I am trying to look for ways to not be so disapointed with Khan not fighting an half decent puncher in his career.

The reason Khan does not get hit so often is due to his shoddy non punching opponents and not anything he does.

Khan's fight with Willie Limond has been his sternest examination to date so you must have high hopes for the Gomez bout!

Considering Khan faced Limond in only his 13th fight I can appreciate why some feel this latest match up is a step backwards for Khan.
