I really do not want this to happen:|, but if Roach wants it something tells me there is a strong chance this show takes place. And if it does happen, pre Pacqiao/Hatton I though Rick would knock the living bells out of Khan, but now I really do not know. I bloody hope this does not happen anyway.
I think Ricky deserve a long break. Then he can think about if he wants to come back. The Ricky of 3 years ago would easily beat Khan. Now I am not sure.
Not only Roach suggesting Khan v Hatton - David Haye on a Talksport radio station believes it makes "perfect sense" for this fight to happen. If it does I'm starting to give Khan some merit for winning. Firstly, Roach seems to see things most cannot fathom (years of training). And secondly, Khan has all the athletic attributes.
Yes, I think this fight would have the same result as last nights except maybe later on. They would employ the same gameplan and Khan has the attributes to pull it off, he is young so can still learn. Ricky should bowe out gracefully though instead.
I sound like a annoying mother, but think if he had looked after his health then he probably will have - not make that he definitely would have prolonged his shelf life in top flight boxing.
Could not agree more. Ricky Hatton is the first reason why I became a fan of boxing fighting the likes of "No-joke" Stewart, Tackie, Phillips, Oilviera and Tsyzu.
Okay, so Khan being annhilated by Hatton wouldn't be something Ricky would want right now? Hell, he could have another 50,000 seat seller in England and destroy Amir in front of a hometown crowd. If he retired, I think this would be the way he would want to go out.
i agree it may cause abit of a stir amongst the nuthuggers but i have said for a long long time hattons absoloute peak was the kostya fight it doesnt matter who he fought after that he started declining
Its just like Margarito v Cotto - take the cheating out of the equation - fighters of this all action style, especially with Hattons bad lifestyle added on to the cake, there is one phenomenal performnace and then it all deteriorates after that.
