Khan v Kristjansen announced for April 5th!

I'm very dissapointed, this Kristjansen fight is a joke. Katsidis would destroy Khan, provided Katsidis beats Casamayor. Khan needs to face a puncher before he can take on Katsidis.

 

Won't be long til people are here defending it!! Another feather-fisted opponent to dispatch...so frustrating. Khan is coasting along in neutral at the moment because they won't step him up!

 

There's no defence for it- they pick a non puncher again.. dress it up as a final eliminator for a vacant tidle and expect that to be acceptable... garbage! Put him in with Thaxton- settle the score domestically then if he wins then he can go on to Euro level, instead they feed us this turd! They have no confidence in him cutting it that is why they are putting him in with this highly ranked no name... I was a big Khan fan and i'm not slagging him personally he's a nice kid but this matchmaking is shockingly manfactured rubbish.

 

I dont know why people are so surprised, its not as if Warren likes to protect his money makers. :roll:

He probably takes on the guy to get a shot at the WBO title. What's wrong with that? He will have done very well to become Champion at 21, even if it was by beating Katsidis v. shot Casamayor winner. Khan is obsessed with a title at 21 - fine! What's the big deal? To be a Champ after 18 pro fights is not bad at all, no?

 

And rightly so, but its predictable Warren, talk up certain fighters then give you this.

He has been doing it for years and he gets away with it mostly due to the fact he has very little competition.

Wasnt it you who said a couple of weeks ago that for all the talk of a Romanov fight he would end up against Kristansen?

Also, whilst Katsidis is certainly beatable, what will happen when he cracks Khan on the chin if that fight happens?

Warren needs to leave boxing.

 

Thaxton is more of a risk than MK. Why risk that right punch landing when you can get a title without asking for extra trouble?

 

I don't mind him fighting europeans if its a meaningful fight like romanov. Khan hasn't even proved to be the best in britain yet.

 

Most guys take the easiest route to the top; Khan has self-imposed a time-limit, which means he has to go this route. I don't see the problem really, given his age and lack of experience. It's the Champ who makes the belt not the other way around, anyway. It's not like he'll retire after winning the title in summer. He would still have a good 10 years ahead of him, if he is lucky. He has a lot of time to prove himself. Let the young'un get his hands on the belt!

 

If it really is an eliminator it isn't all bad

Casamayor/Katsidis are the easiest route to a belt, so it makes sense

If he fights for the title after this you lot won't be complaining, moaning fickle cnuts
