So, Khan's not fighting Romanov eh? I did predict this would happen, so I'm not surprised. The top guys at lightweight will find Khan easy to beat unless he gets some proper fights under his belt.
another outsized powder puff puncher............yeah, go soft as long as you can. but someday he gotta face a puncher..........
hes going along very quick if he pulls it off then somehow someway beats diaz u got to give him alot of respect
Khan is probably going to be protected all the way to a title fight, when eventually he may have to fight someone with a bit of a dig behind them. I think this over-protecting is going to actually harm him in the long run. If they put him in with someone at least noted as having some power, he'd learn from it. Instead he may find himself fighting for a belt and being hit (really HIT) for the first time, which will **** him up if he doesn't have any experience of fighting these guys.
So he'll win a WBO title, and an interim one at that, and call himself Britain's youngest champion when he can't even win the British title? What a joke.
Yeah, it's an absolute joke that a 21 year old could be interim champ Complete rubbish. He should be a 3 weight world champ by now  Why are people so unreasonable when it comes to Khan?
HA HA! People forget that but I guess it's what happens when a fighter is hyped so much in the media. Even the people who hate and complain about the hype begin to buy it!
Decebal - forgive me if I'm mistaken but I thought you had knocked Khan's youngest british world champ ambition recently and suggested it would be better for him to focus on becoming the most successful british world champ instead. Anyway, I'd rather see him concentrate on trying to be the latter than see him attempt to break Prince Naz' record without having been in with a real puncher first.
:good I mean he could fight thaxton, meager and murray. because if he gets in the ring with baby bull this year is dreams could be in ruins.
Yes, I was. I agree with you. This is what I would concentrate on if I were Khan. But I'm 26 and Khan is 21...he is more immature and he's set his heart on that record. I don't think anyone can change his mind now... Also, I was asking a question I didn't know the answer to. I don't know how good Romanov is, or Thaxton. So I asked whether Thaxton + Romanov weren't more difficult for Khan than Kristjansen + Winner of Katsidis v. Casamayor...many here think that the latter combination is harder for Khan, so it makes sense, then, for him to go this route, anyway. He will not have been in with a real puncher, true. But let's face it...if he goes against a real puncher, and his chin is indeed worse than very good, given his defence, he will get KOed. All this taken into account, they might as well take him down this route and satisfy his ego with the record. Still, as we both agree, Khan will be seen as a weak Champ, not having faced a big puncher, because a Champion shouldn't really be felled by hard punching good journeymen...and this might just happen to Khan one day... :good
Good interview that, nice to have some insight into his weight, since he always seems huge He's smart. He knows Katsidis is perfect for him, from a stylisitic viewpoint. I also liked that he knows he needs more experience to fight Diaz, very mature and realistic with where he's at
