That's not him. Just some random guy with Khan. I 100% guarantee that Lexar is Lazarus.

No one cares. Isn't your Laz name unbanned in a few days anyway?

Interesting...Khan is the one looking a bit 'pudgy' there i'd say. Won't be long before he struggles to make 140 IMO. How him and Ortiz make light welter is beyond me tbh.

Just wait for the "weight drained" excuse when Maidana lays him out cold.

Ya I know, they both gotta be Welter in the making. Was watching Ortiz/Maidana again recently and Ortiz looks like a monster in comparison, never noticed that watchin it live.

Yep, I think you maybe right, which is not a good sign at this stage. Light Welter looks stacked now, but most of these will move up soon IMO. 140 has always been a halfway house.

These guys just look so big for the weight.

That was a polite offer. Not a threat. You said no, so that's the end of it, Laz.

khan was a massive lightweight, didnt he have to strip to his boxers for the prescott fight.

no way he can still make 135 safely

    Maidana, Khan Quick Quotes

    By Rocco Morales
WBA world champions Amar Khan and Marcos Maidana met the pres today in advance of their WBA super lightweight world championship clash on December 11th:

Miguel Diaz, Co-trainer of Marcos Maidana
This is going to be a tremendous fight between two boxers in the prime of their careers. The winner of this fight will be a superstar. For this fight, I have brought in, from Puerto Rico, the conditioning coach of Felix Trinidad, Cruz Garcia Figueroa.

Sebastian Contursi, Advisor of Marcos Maidana
Maidana no longer wants to be called just the WBA interim champion but rather wants to take Khan’s title and be the one and only WBA super lightweight champion of the world.

Richard Schaefer, CEO of Golden Boy Promotions
The thing that has impressed me the most about Marcos Maidana is not his tremendous punch but rather his tremendous heart. Maidana went down three times against Victor Ortiz but he got up and won the fight. He had an opportunity against Ortiz and he knew what to do once given an opportunity. This is not just an opponent for Amir Khan. Maidana is coming to win this fight.

    Marcos Maidana
I am in Las Vegas for my entire training camp, preparing to enter this fight in the best shape of my life. I am going to make the most out of this great opportunity and emerge victorious.

Richard Schaefer, CEO of Golden Boy Promotions
Amir Khan is young, exciting and he delivers. People want to see Amir Khan fight and are always asking when he is fighting next.
In the 2004 Olympic Games, Amir was very impressive in winning the silver medal. He won his first world title last year in defeating Andriy Kotelnik. Amir has beaten Mexican ring legend Marco Antonio Barrera. Amir was able to beat Paulie Malignaggi at his own game right in the middle of the ring. Now, Amir is taking on the most dangerous challenger in the super lightweight division, Marcos Maidana. This fight has the potential to be the fight of the year.

Asif Vali, Manager of Amir Khan
Los Angeles is Amir’s second home and with his last fight taking place in Los Angeles and this fight taking place in Las Vegas, he is actually spending more time here in L.A. than he has been in the UK. However, this fight will not only be seen in the United States but also in the UK. Amir is truly one of the emerging superstars of boxing.

    Amir Khan

It is good to be back in America. The reason I am fighting Marcos Maidana is because if I want to be known as the best, I have to beat the best. This is a big opportunity for both of us. Marcos Maidana is known as a very big puncher but I think I am a bigger puncher. Although I am best known for my speed, ask people I’ve fought about my punch and they can tell you. There are going to be fireworks in the ring on December 11th.
NOTE: Tonight, Amir Khan is boarding a plane to the Phillipines to get in 3 weeks of work with trainer Freddy Roach, and to train alongside Manny Pacquaio.

There you have it, Maidana camp is bringing in Felix Trinidad conditioner and training in Las Vegas, Khan camp is based in the Philliphines/Dallas/LA with Manny Pacquaio, Roach, Arizza.

These guys will becoming into the fight in top shape, No doubt about it.
