But seriously, I think Khan's just bluffing. He says he's going to be the big puncher, but we know he won't be taking any chances.

Salita was right, however he was a guy who should never got to where he did so it wouldn't have helped him anyway.

Freddie Roach is a good trainer, one of the best in the world. However the training situation isn't ideal. When you're training for a world title fight, especially one such as this that's going to need a well worked gameplan, you ideally need the full attention of you're trainer. Not someone else working with you whilst under the watchful eye of your trainer. He does however have 3 full weeks with Freddie so plenty of time after that.

Yeah its a team, Roach, Arizza, Michael Moorer and a few others so there is always someone there. But ideally Roach would be dedicated to his fighter one at a time, but thats not going to happen.

Do you think Roach has too many fighters atm? I mean Pacquaio, Felix Sturm, Jamie Kavagnah, Amir Khan, Jose Benevidez, Chad Dawson to name a few.

    Freddie sacked Moorer.

I firmly believe someone shouldn't be simultaneously running two training camps for fighters involved in major bouts

Roach sacked Moorer? I never knew that, Any idea over what happened?

Yes in an ideal world Roach should be simultaneously running two training camps but its Roach, You want to be trained by him then you got to train how he wants.

That being said lets say Roach health gets worse and he cant give the kind of time Khan needs, Do you think Nazim Richardson can improve Khan further or you do think Nazim Richardson cant teach him anything that Roach cant teach?

I wouldn't choose Richardson over Roach. But I would chose a full 8 weeks with Richardson over 5 part time weeks with Roach and 3 full time. But like I said I think Freddie is better suited for a fighter like Khan

I can't entirely remember the reasons behind Moorers sacking, it was well over a year ago. Something relating to him being distracted from his work.

Well even if Oscar DLH gave Khan and Roach the keys to Big Bear, I doubt Roach will want to leave the Wildcard for 8 weeks, Even with Manny its only for 3-4 weeks in the Philipines, He likes to keep an eye on everyone and I dont think he can commit himself to just one fighter, But Manny will always take priorty over the others, Then Khan.

I get what you mean 8 weeks with Richardson over 5 part time weeks and 3 full time weeks are probably better, But then he would need a new conditioning coach since Arizza works for Roach.
