mate he hasnt gone to live in america, hes doing the same as he was before, training in the wildcard and after his fight chill at home in between his schedule. As for fighting in the uk, all depends on a number of things. Where his career is, who hes fighting, money, titles etc. for example if he fights hatton in summer hes obviously gonna fight in thee uk. But if he fights bradley say at the end of the year for a unification fight, it makes sense to fight in vegas. Hes only doing what calzaghe, hatton, lewis, naz all did before him. Difference is hes just doing it earlier to maximise his potential and to establish his name in the sport.
If he stays living in the UK and makes people come to UK to fight him at times ill change my mind.More figths he wins and becomes established the more reason others should travel to him anyway.
His last fight was in Newcastle though. If he manages to fight half of his fights here then I wouldn't complain to be honest, where he trains becomes irrelevant
In every fight Khan as fought i havent supported him once, but i think that was more to do with I dislike what FW does with fighters. Now Khan is stepping out of the 'comfort zone' and facing a real threat, I am gonna back him on this one, Not sure if his chin will hold up, but I am a fan of real boxing and this could be the first Real fight he has stepped to.. Leaving FW is the best thing any boxer could do if he wants to become a real contender on the world scene..
midana is a freakin hypejob, buh he can shatter khans jaw. midana wont get anywhere in his career becuz if he beats khan hes gona get exposed by someone soon for the hype job he is. btw incase some of u didnt know, he lost to kotelnik who barely has an offense
hmm says . . . make a poll next time... Khan... I don't really admire Maiiana rugged style but I really admire his heart and determination (terminator that keeps getting back up)...
Yeah I think Khan's a **** too. I mean look at him, he is accustomed to fighting feather fisted fighters who stylistically pose no problem to him. C'mon Khan, all we're asking from you is to grow a pair of testicles, and leave your comfort zone to face someone dangerous..... ....and what do we get in return?... ..... You move out of the UK at a very young age to be tutored by a legendary trainer. In less than 12 months, you then go on to win a world title after we said you can't. To make things worse, you decide to leave the over protective Frank Warren, to pursue bigger, better and more challenging fights in the US. The ****ing nerve! You didn't see Hatton and Calzaghe do what you were doing this early, and look at them, they were legends of our country. You on the other, decide to defend your title against a dynamite puncher that we said you were scared of....who the heck are you tryna fool? What a piece of **** you are Khan, for being ambitious, and brave in your career. You deserve nothing but harm
Khan for me But I would have been plotting his downfall had he been fighting Malignaggi and I dont even like Paulie !
I'm not a fan of him but i respect Khan coming out his comfort zone for this fight, Maidana has a punchers chance no doubt but moving up weight might be able to improve Khan's chin. I hope Maidana wins though.
Indeed I dont get it either , I was one of those calling for the bravery and he did it , starting with the move to US and then fighting Kotelnik ( who was bigger and well experienced ) I got annoyed at the stuff about vacating to fight paulie ( as it seemed to be going backwards ) but so long as that isnt the path they choose what is the problem ?
