Khan's too quick and too mobile. By the time he's slowing down Maidana will be cut up and eating hard right hands. Mercy stoppage in the later rounds.

If Khan wins then I don't want to hear stuff like "it was a great win for Khan". 80% of the forum expect him to win.

How would it be a great win, well done Amir you fought a clearly limited fighter with a big punch. The only thing good this shows is that Khan is willing to fight a guy with a punch.

It will be a great win Maidana can bang beat another up and coming fighter in Ortiz pushed Kotelnik close and has banged out everyone else hes faced the guy is a puncher and a wild awkward one at that. Its an exellent fight at this stage of Khans career. Amir is constantly proving hes a real fighter and this fight will help up no end in his development.

I have already picked Khan to win. So why would I say "I told you so" if he lost?

a punch, a slightly unorthadox gunslinging style with good pressure, who will still keep throwing even if gets taken of his feet

I think he should fight Maidana next, what I meant was that dont make out as if it was a massive win for Khan after he beats him. It would be a solid win over a dangerous contender that he was expected to beat.

I already respect Khan for turning his career around after the Prescott loss and even if I didnt respect him I don't think Amir would give two shits (rightly so).

lol fair enough mate i do disagree with u though when u say it wouldnt be a massive win, i think for someone his age, so early in his career taking on maidana in his US debut is a very brave move and if he actually won as well would be a very remarkable achievement

I think if you win a world title then you've got to be prepared to face the mandatories that come with it. Some can be **** (like Salita) and some can pose a threat (like Maidana).

Who knows with Khan these days - he ain't a reliable fighter, he's too unpredictable !!

IF i had to say who'd win, I'd say Khan TKO

But if Maidana connects to that chin, its good night !!

And the likely hood of Maidana landing 1 clean punch is very high.........

Maidana by a mid-late KO, with khan winning every round before he gets KO.

Keep the votes coming, fellas. Great to see a fight like this generate so much interest for different reasons:good.

Styles makes fights. If people pick a certain fighter to win they usually do it based on how each fighters' styles match up. By most picking Khan to win it doesn't necessarilly mean everyone thinks Maidana is ****; it just means Khan has the tools to beat him:good.

Personally, I think that the Kotelnik win is extremely underrated. Maidana wouldn't, IMO, be Khan's best win if he were to beat him.
