These kind of articles are so tiresome, past it boxer A wants to unretire to fight past it boxer B. Nothing about it being signed or even negotiated, just that one of them "would like it" and it somehow still gets treated like breaking news.

I'm starting to think there needs to be some sort of prenup type document that boxers have to sign before going pro stating that once they retire they have to stay retired.

Here's the thing though: he didn't really say that. Have to be careful with articles like this.

    GB News said:

But further down they actually sheepishly mention:

I'm not going to call it clickbait because that's lazy. But it's making the most out of an almost nothing comment. In my view, a more honest summary would be:

Amir Khan would consider a lucrative fight with Manny Pacquiao if offered, despite only training occasionally.

The last thing Khan needs is further trauma to his head. Surely someone in his circle needs to convince him that he can't fight again under any circumstances, regardless of whether his excellency offers him a payday he doesn't deserve.

It's a shame they didn't fight when they were in their prime!

Had the same trainer during Khan’s prime which made it pretty impossible.

    No one ducked Khan.

He had great hand speed but could not box to a plan, ego and lack of fight IQ made him greedy every time he had success and with that he gets clipped.

    He's not a fighter anymore.

Probably only trained a couple months the past few years, and that was the camp for Brook.

He's too dim to live a disciplined life and is known for getting drunk, smoking shisha (and whatever else) and sniffing coke all the time.

I reckon he was only living the life in the roach/ariza shakes era.

Manny at the least stays in shape year round.

I envision Amir having a hellacious divorce at some point down the line, that wife of his strikes me as bad news for his pockets. And as a result I definitely think we've not seen the last of him in a ring.

Khan doesn't touch alcohol. I doubt he smokes anything..never heard of a smoking boxer.
    Coke on the other hand....

100%. He lacked alot of discipline and enjoyed engaging in wars, which is a shame as when he boxed on the outside, with his speed and power, he had success. The body shot that dropped Maidana was beautiful. In contrast, a case of him needlessly engaging in war was against Danny Garcia.

I do think he has invested money but I'm not sure how profitable his ventures are. I think he's involved in promoting boxing in Saudi.
