The ref gave a ton of warnings. He didn't stop the action and say "if you do it again I'm taking a point," but after being told to stop pushing a couple of dozen times, Khan should know a deduction is coming.
Listen idiots. Pushing = Illegal Khan = Given Warnings This isnt a street fight, its a boxing match. The referee was well in his rights to deduct a point from Khan. Khan should have adjusted and learnt, but instead he continued to push which was his own fault, not the ref's. If anything the ref was wrong in deducting a point from Peterson in the 1st round, so you Khanboys should be praising the ref for giving Amir an extra point. The ref done a decent job, understand that fools.
No... I make up my own opinion. Why... is he your hero? I personally think titles shouldn't be exchanged via SD's. That's just stupid. That being said I believe Lamont will be victorious come May 19th. The poll on my thread conveys otherwise though.. http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=366464 Khan always used to push even before he trained with Freddie... he has no inside game so he used to push whenever pressure used to be applied to him. He's a sucker for uppercuts. He always has that amateurish style of fighting; having a passive defence when he lays on the ropes with each of his fists by the side of his face.
7 rounds to 5 for perterson even without deductions....remember Khan got credited for a fake knockdown as well. Peterson won fair and square.....first criteria for scoring is clen effective punching of which Amir did very little. Peterson has Khan figured out and flustered at his inability to infight, the rematch will be a more clear decision for Lamont, he'll be in Khans grill from round one and Amir don't like the rough stuff.
