Read somewhere that Prescott would happily lace up the gloves and fight in Khans back-garden again, IMO this would be a great 'keep busy' fight around March/April with a possible Bradley/Alexander clash in the summer.

This fights a good idea because:

    1) Financially makes sense, the first fight got a LOT of press and it khans most well known fight, this will lure more numbers than a washed up judah or peterson etc, even the khan haters will want to see him get knocked out again

    2) Publicity As already mentioned most people know about the original fight, people will automatically respect khan for getting in the ring with him again. If he wins convincingly then the public will no longer worry about his chin. NOTE: Maidana may be by far a better boxer but your average joe doesn't know this so no one realises just how good khans win was.

    3) Redemption for Khan Khan will have beaten his only blip on his record meaning that in theory hes back to never being truely beaten again, giving him a confidence boost for his fight against Tim Bradley

    4) Timing After bradley (if Khan wins) theres no way prescott will ever be high enough in the rankings to face khan again, as khan will be fighting in superfights/mandatories etc, so its now or never in effect

    5) If Lightning strikes twice? There will be a bit of exitement in this fight, prescott has a much longer reach and less of a pressure fighter than maidana, there will be bad blood in the ring, will khan keep his cool or lose it like he did against maidana?

Have no interest in this fight what-so-ever. Prescott has been shown up time and time again since. He's a one dimensional b level puncher who is dangerous for about 3 rounds if you stand in front of him like Khan did.

This will have UK only appeal no-one knows Prescott; but everyone knows Judah. Judah is a more dangerous opponent than Prescott, and he will sell in America.

I agree Prescott doesn't deserve the fight, and there are probably better names in the frame for Khan's next fight.

But for a 'keep busy' fight in the UK, and for Khan to have the chance to be able to say he avenged the defeat, I wouldn't begrudge this fight. And it will sell in the UK to the casual fans.

Would Prescott be allowed to fight for a light welter title? He's been terrible since fighting Khan.

I'll be very disappointed in Khan if he doesn't fight a rematch with Maidana or the winner of Bradley-Alexander next.

Prescott should go.back to the barrios in Columbia.

Khan is so ahead of him ones one Pluto the other is in a distant galaxy!
We all know now that should khan fight him and not get chinned, khan would outbid him and break his heart. Simples

Financial reasons aside, this’ll end up being a waste of time. Since that night, Prescott has been exposed for the incredibly limited fighter he is, and Khan will garner no credibility what so ever in beating him.

It’ll also do very little in helping him prepare for what will be the biggest fight of his career – unification against Alexander/Bradley. Achieving this is far more important than going back to beat a club fighter.

If you want to prove you can beat a Lion, you don't wrestle a polar bear.

Prescott or Judah, I don't care, but I prefer Prescott because people still remember Khan for the 54 seconds in which he got knocked out.

Imagine the build-up! But at the same time, I'm good with Khan-Judah.
