I actually think it's a good Idea, a good time, and a good crossroads for the two of them to meet at. Why not, Amir could start wiping his slate clean like Lennox did, Bredis, then PEDerson, and Garcia. Maybe a couple tune up fights if he gets a new trainer first.
I agree. He should take the rest of the year off, re-assess a lot of things, begin a comeback with a couple of confidence builders in early 2013, and then end the year with a fight with Prescott. If he's looking to improve, then eventually he'll need to pit himself against a puncher again. And who better than against a guy who had a profound impact on his career? If he wins, he'd have gained a bit of respect back.
he shouldn't take the rest of the year off. Already been inactive this year so should go for a "easy" fight in the UK like Corley or McCloskey rematch LOL
nah, this guy is somewhat classless. I lost so much respect for him. His antics, and ways are deceiving, and set a bad example.
He's had one really intense training camp for Peterson II, followed by another one for Garcia - in which he gets brutally beaten up in. Considering before this he already had a busy 2011 which was topped off by a gruelling fight with Peterson, I think he could do with giving his body and mind a rest. The past 8 months or so have been quite hard for him. Honestly, since the Prescott defeat he's been going at a 100mph. Taking it easy for the next year - reflecting on the improvements he needs to make - may not be a bad idea.
i agree. if he wants the respect back, he needs to avenge his losses. and prescott is a good start imo.
Garcia should be the initial option, If a rematch cannot be made, then Khan v Prescott II should be backup. Prescott has been wanting khan match for a long time.
