Yep. Its a good fight, definately the next natural fight to be made for Khan. But as we all know his promoters doesnt have faith in his boys chin so i dont think he'll risk it. Warren knows all about Thaxton after what he did with his lat cash cow, Ricky Hatton.

Well Thaxton is a proven danger but definately not a World beater, so if he dismisses of him easy we can then say, well maybe he is the real thing, if he is sparked by the heavy handed Thaxton then we can draw the conclusion maybe he is not the mutts nutts after all.

It is the perfect fight to gauge what level Khan is at, especially as he has said he wanted to world champ by the times hes 21, now he has said he wants to be world champ before Lewis Hamilton, well I think he has one year left to do it in that case...

Why is it a great fight? Thaxton fights in slow motion. Looks like Khan will keep fighting these Euro bums. If he wants real recognition he should fight a Mexican or an American fighter.

Look at what Hatton did wasted his time and his prime fighting weak guys in Europe. Khan is doing the same thing fighting guys like Earl, Thaxton and the Danish pastry. Like it or not on the world stage Thaxton is a bum

Hatton isnt much past his prime but he did waste much time under Warren. Khan is doing the same thing it seems.

 

Warren won't let Khan anywhere near Thaxton which is a shame for us all. Isn't it also so predictable Warren would take Khan the WBO route to a "world" title with their weak rankings? Expect to see Khan fight for an interim WBO belt or the vacant belt when they strip Diaz.
