Maidana has a decent chin - Ortiz has a lot of power IMO, possibly even more than Maidana (thats what I believe anyway).

Yep, Malignaggi is a good person to pick for to get the general public interested. Due to him fighting Hatton (and boxing on the undercard of Hatton's 'homecoming'), he already has some decent exposure over here and he can sell a fight.

For me, after he has fought Salita, I would ideally put Khan in against Paulie first, then Hatton, because he needs to fight a puncher sometime and Hatton is 20x a bigger draw in the UK than other big punchers in the division like Maidana and Urango.

Ortiz may or may not have a lot of power (no heart) but he put Maidana down twice with nothing shots....Maidanas chin is suspect in the same way as Khans is :deal

A lot of those are intriguing affairs.... Kotelnik was very disappointing, so some judgement needs to be reserved, especially against the more heavy handed guys.

If Khan gets to 47-1 and makes 27 defences will he be greater then Calzaghe or will the prescott defeat ruin it.

I've watched it several times and still hold the same opinion.

Same here. I've now seen the fight plenty of times and I even watched it last week and, as far as I'm concerned, the jury is still out on Maidana.

So, after reading through the comments, Malignaggi seems to be a popular option. It would be a huge tactical affair but still an intriguing fight. The Hatton link would also help sell the fight to the casuals and Malignaggi is a very big name for Khan's resume and an opponent no-one could bash Khan for taking on. Good fight.

2 of the 3 knockdowns were decent shots.

I agree, all I said was that Maidana had a decent chin and power.

I mean, if Khan went to war with either Ortiz or Maidana (I know he wouldn't based on his new style) he would not get out of the 2nd round and would be lucky to get out of the 1st.

Yes, trading with him would be darn stupid. If Khan could stay on the outside and box him, I'm sure he'd get the better of him, though. That's if they end up fighting.

:-( If Khan had have gone down the same way as Maidana to the same shots everyone would be prattling on about his **** poor chin...Maidana looks to have decent power and average technical ability, nothing more...I don't think he is anything to rave about

I dont think Khan will move back down to 135 ever again, all signs show 140 is his natural weight.

I feel Khan has the tools to clean up the 140 division by the end of next year, bar Pacman I think Bradley is the best at 140 so in order for Khan claim he is the best 140 he needs to beat Bradley.

I think Khan can beat Maidana if he has to fight him after Salita, it would be a good fight for him to take because it would give him a chance to beat a puncher which many people think he can not do, but with a good game plan and good defence Khan can just outbox this guy for most of the rounds.

I want to see Khan in a tactical battle with a good boxer so he can really test his speed, timing, movement, defence, note Khan hardly ever loses rounds on points so far in his career. That fight would be Malignaggi, I would love to see that fight made soon.

Also I think Khan should go for Devon Alexander for his WBC title, that would also be a great fight as Devon is a southpaw and a good little boxer and would again be a good boxing test.

I dont think most of Khan's fight's will be on the backfoot like the Kotelnik fight, most other fighters are more hittable and would give Khan more openings to come forward.

I think he'd beat Malinaggi, I know nothing about Maidana so no comment, Alexander, Bradley and Campbell all knock him out.

Might as well capitalise on the latest result and see what everyone now thinks of Khan's chances against the bigger boys:good.

I think Bradley beats him. Intense fighter with a will to win who can box and also box with sharp reactions and nice footwork and lands decent shots. I also feel Bradley's always improving and would beat him imo. It's important to look and evaluate that he hasn't been in a really hard fight under Roach yet, He will soon and that's when we will see how far he's come along.

The last two fights have been fairly kind to Khan compared to other fighters who have gone onto the world stage at there first crack. Kotelnik i was impressed and tonight he did his job and impressively.
