khan late stoppage through accumulation, hatton is shot his punch resistance is gone and if he attempts to make 140 again it will ruin him even more, khans handspeed would kill hatton, straight punches down the pipe which hatton has no defence for will slice up hatton hatton might have some success when he gets in close but he cant sustain any attack to seruiously trouble khan at this stage of his career

that the thing though khan is at his weakest when he plants his feet, a blind barrera was able to hit a planted khan, and he stepped into prescott's shot, bad move if khan does this.......and roach said in the 24/7 with pac-hatton, hatton has success when you stand in front of him.....so we know from that roach would have khan moving against a hatton...

i understand we dont know khan's power at 140, because it was a aginst kotelnik, but i'm skeptical khan has above average power at 140 and could be quite featherfisted.....and if thats the case a pressure fighter like hatton could have a field day with khan....and make it like malginaggi......khan might be as fast or faster then manny hand speed, but he doesnt have manny's footwork, footwork was always one of hatton's strong suits, and khan certainly doesnt have manny's power.....if hatton got inside on mayweather and manny i'm sure he will get inside on khan....

It all depends on how much is left from Hatton.

Hatton will clearly be affected from such a devasting loss so its hard to gauge how he would react to it.

A version of the Hatton we have seen from 2004 to 2009 would walk Khan down stopping him late or UD him.

But we dont know much Hatton has left.

Hatton would still beat Khan, he doesn't have the power to hold Hatton off, he's not too great on the inside and he isn't Manny Pacquiao.

Hatton KO9 when Khan slows down.

this brings up an interesting question....not just against hatton, but could khan punch himself out?

I really hope this fight comes off, it would be massive. I think the result will depend on what Hatton's punch resistance is like after the Pacqiaou shellacking. Khan's sideways movement was impressive on Saturday and those are the tactics he would need to beat Hatton. Ricky's left hooks to body and head would be a major factor but if Khan could keep moving to his own left he can nullify that threat.

I think this is a winnable fight for Khan now.

This is only a winnable fight for Khan if Hatton is totally shot. Khan has never faced anything approaching the class of Hatton. Please don't compare Michael Gomez to Hatton.
