Khan as been exposed he as been doing this sh it for years. Even his fans are struggling to defend this farce, and get this after calling froth and brook he winds up on pbc for his British fans and all lol

The welterweight division is stacked with top notch fighters and Khan choses Algieri, who is not a WW and who in his last fight had his limitations horribly exposed? Terrible choice, poor fight. Not even competitive.

 

Who has Brook fought at WW?

Senchencko? Porter? Dan? And Chaves is next?

Not exactly fighting the best out there himself is he?

Brook has only broke through to world level with his victory over Porter last year so give him a chance. With his mandatory out of the way, we should expect the quality of opposition to improve now though.

 

Really don't understand this fight...It gives Khan almost nothing. A guy coming off a heavy defeat. Algeri has one really good win but other than that not a lot to show and he's another non puncher.

Khan should win this easily Algeri is fit, and can take a punch but really his offense is limited to a decent jab. I can see Khan overwhelming him and i know Pac couldnt force a stoppage but i think Amir might.

The only thing this fight gives KHan is another camp and fight with Virgil in his corner but after hammering his last two opponents i think they are doing OK together. The Broner fight would have made more sense at least Adrien has some offensive tools (id still pick Khan to win tho)

Really odd matchmaking.. I hope Khan wins and then maybe a big fight against bradders, jmm, thurmn, brook whoever

 

Isn't this the same for Brook?
I like Brook so don't misunderstand where I am coming from but I like both guys but don't see how they are doing anything dissimilar from each other.

 

Sorry mate last time i checked this thread was titles "Khan v Algieiri", no mention of Brook.

If you like you can browse through my posts from the last 7 days and you will see Kell Brook get torn a new one by myself for his last opponent. Brooks record can be compared to the likes of John Murrays before he fought Rios. I dont really rate his win over porter as he himself was massively over hyped after beating Malignaggi!!

Brook fans make out his win over Porter was like Leonard defeating Benitez. Both as bad as eachother. Lets see who Kell fights next, my guess? 42 year old Marquez.

 

Eddie hearn said in latest kugan interview that he wants to try and get Brook fighting on the 30th may card and then a fight vs Rios in July. Rios is the fight he definitely wants.

But it is irrelevant what Kell does. Amir Khan already went on Twitter to claim Algeiri is better than Joe Joe Dan.

Point is that Khan claimed he was only chasing the big fights. Said constantly how he had all these options instead of Brook and looked who he picked.

Algeiri was predicted by a few of us as we knew he would avoid any legit 147 fighter who could bang.

 

Never said i didnt rate either of them no need to make stuff up to help proove a moot point.
Khan should be fighting someone better than algieri and brooks next fight should also be vs a top ww but this thread is about khan algieri which is a poor fight and an easy fight for khan but it wont help him get a fmj fight

 

Same the only positive I can think of, this is Al Haymon type of match making..

I mean it will keep Khan on a winning streak and keep his dreams alive for Mayweather or Pacman later this year..

Its mainly because Khan has options. Bradley, Gurrero, Thurman, He bangs on about being the best in the division and wanting May or Pac but isnt earning it. He was throwing names out a few weeks ago but now fights Algeri??? Brook has offered to fight him and if Brook himself fights someone decent next it does make Khans decision to fight someone who was smashed by Pac a bit silly.

I hope they both do well but i dont understand the khan camp thinking here
