    No thanks, Khan vs a non puncher lacks any drama, Khan wins all 12 rounds, with a KD or two. Boring.

    Khan vs Brook, Thurman,Maidana please. Only feather fisted fighter i wouldn't mind is Bradley as at least that is competitive and Bradley could win.

    even Khan fans can't defend this awful, pointless boring fight. Algieri is a feather fisted 140 fighter who has no business fighting at 147

    Khan is starting to annoy me now.

    He used to - up until very recently - take on ALL comers. Now he seems to have it in his head that he will face the winner of Manny/Floyd (even Khan should have clued on that they'll rematch or retire once they meet), and cracked on with being the next 'Man' at 147.

    He should shut the Brook/Hearn camp up.
    Then face someone like Thurman.

    No point in facing Algieri. Face Maidana or Bradley at least!

    Poor fight - Algeri has nothing to show Khan at all.
    If he is definately taking the fight he at least better KO him

    algieri is good enough for Pacman though, but not Khan,

    bit hypocritical but i still think its a rubbish fight

    He wasn't good enough, Pac shoudl have fought a 147 fighter instead, it was a garbage fight for Pac and is for Khan. he isn't a 147 fighter.

    No reason AT ALL for this fight to happen. Khan needs to stop running from Kell Brook.

    thats true, guess if its ok for pacman to do it khan will do it.

    hes avoiding kell cause of kells power.

    the only better option than Brook is cotto, Bradley will just about be acceptable as he's a bigger name in the USA. algeiri broner aren't good enough with a brook offer on the table

    Clear as day, because Brook offers the biggest payday available and a world title which he could use as a bargaining tool for the May vs Pac winner.

    He must not have a lot of confidence in his ability to take a chocolate Brownie from kell on his whiskers.

    Pacqiauos achieved a lot in the sport, hes allowed to take an easy fight here and there.

    Khan claims he could beat Floyd and Pacqiauo, calls out Cotto, somehow avoids Bradley, Maidana 2, Porter, Brook, Thurman, even Guererro, but finds Algieri.

    Of course Khan isn't a conman :patsch

    Good grief...

    You do understand that it was Amir Khan who for months has been saying he only want the big fights.

    Stop making excuses and accept that fighting Chris Algeiri instead of Kell Brook is silly and clear duck.

    How can anyone claim that Khan fighting Algeiri is a good move. Beating Algeiri does nothing for Khan.

    You must see that.

    I'm a big Khan fan and I think this new version weighting 160lb fight night like like he did in the Alexander fight would outclass Kell. However Algeri is not an acceptable opponent whether the Brook fight is on the table or not. Pac only fought Chris because Arum was looking for an easy opponent to fill his obligations for a Macau fight for Pac.
    Algeri was battered around the ring and dropped about 4 times- yes he showed heart but not much else.
