The Bolton born boxer the king khan is going to bout the boxing legend Chris Algieri on May 29. Amir Khan is trying hard to make himself a best contender for Floyd Mayweather Jr for his upcoming bout on September but on the other hand Chris Algieri is going to win this bout in order to recover from his very recent loss to Manny Pacquiao.

Who do you think is the favorite?

I've always stayed up for Khan fights but not this one, total mismatch.

Chris isn't great and has no chance at WW to beat Khan, Khan will be too fast for him and get a late UD or likely stop him.

Another BS fight for Khan to keep himself in the picture of a superfight with Floyd (superfight in his own head, as everyone knows it's a mismatch)

I hope Floyd screws him again and goes with Cotto.

King Khan wins in a canter, looks sensational doing so and gets the Mayweather fight in September. Amir's loyal fans will love this as much as it will depress his irrational haters.

    :rofl

If only eh? How :happy would Amir's haters be then? Sorry, but Amir is going to win... And in excellent style. Algieri is tough, no doubt, but his highness, King Khan, will prevail via last third (9-12) stoppage in a spectacular display of skill and power. :bbb

Who wins? Really OP? Khan very easily, will be close to a shut out, but it wont lead to a Mayweather shot in my opinion, I would be very shocked to see Khan stop him, as Algieri is a seriously tough kid. Provodnikov hits considerably harder than Khan and he couldn't KO him, Pacquiao also hits harder than Khan and he didn't so I cant see Khan winning via KO.

Ive got to hope that youve got that wrong mate as stopping Algieri is the ONLY chance Amir has of getting the Mayweather fight. TMT simply arent interested in anything other than a stoppage win for Amir. Amir already knows this. You are correct, Algieri is a very tough, gutsy guy. But Amir dropped Maidana. And whilst Manny and Ruslan hit harder than Amir we are talking single shot powet. Amir could drop Chris and then overwhelm him sufficiently to force a referee stoppage. Lets be honest, many other refs would have stopped the Manny-Algieri fight. And quite frankly Chris's corner should have stopped it. It is entirely possible that such a sustained beating has left its mark on Algieri. Amir has to stop Chris and I think he will. Not long to wait now though.

You don't get dropped several times in a fight and choose to go the distance in a bout you clearly have no chance in, if you arent a tough guy with a big heart. And anyone who thinks different is not being at all reasonable. Don't watch it.. Go and pay £16 to watch Kell Brook fight Frankie Gavin. That'll have you riveted to the screen im sure.
