He wants to follow the line of least pain though, and hope to land pac or Floyd, then cash out his chips. Don't think he wants to hang around at 147 for much longer because if he does, then he will have to fight a puncher at some stage. He also doesn't want to risk losing to Brook, after all the smack talk he has given him.

So Algieri, can't really punch, and Khan is always good against other boxers. Beating Algieri will prove nothing though, with regards to his credentials at 147.

Surely for the sake of boxing you'd want Khan to lose as it would lead to far more trying this sort of stuff on?

Yeah when you look at it from that point of view it would teach him and others a lesson.

    Good point.

Yes hope Mayweather does not adopt Khans practice should he win, hope he takes on Brook instead of the meaningless Khan fight, after all Brook is ibf champ, take all 4 belts and retire to the history books .

The history books do not pay the bills. Khan has a fancy that Lil Floyd can make more money from; and Jr has made it very clear that, that is what he is about.

Pac was lining up a fight with Provodnikov not Algeri. Nobody knew Chris Algeri. It just so happens Algeri won so got the Pac fight and a lot of people including myself was interested in the fight to see what this kid who lives with his mum & dad & drives a Honda Acord was about...... We found out and got the answer. You cannot compare Mannys decision to fight Algeri with Kahns recent announcement you are clutching at straws. He was coming off a massive win when Pac took the fight. I cannot stand Amir Kahn and it's got nothing to do with his race. It's because his behaviour makes me cringe and is embarrassing for British boxing.

That is all arguable true; but Khan and his team put money first, and they are pretty successful at that. Amir has possibly not quite lived up to the hype, but money wise, I suspect he has surpassed his expectations.
