Marco is going to turn into Joe Frazier and get to that chin come hell and high water. He might be old and small in comparison, but I'd like to think he has enough left to capitalise on Khan's lack of durability.

    Never underestimate Marco Antonio Barrerra.

I hear what you are saying , but everyone would ( im sure ) agree that Khan wouldn't live with Barrera in his prime but he has every chance of doing something now due simply to big advantages in size and age.

So do I want to see someone who in their peaks couldnt have laced Barreras gloves make something off his name ? No I dont.

Do I wan't to see a young British fighter avenge his loss and go back and fight the best the world has to offer and do us proud ? Yes I do.

Calzaghe is from wales and i pissed my kilt when he got floored in the first round. Mainly because i had 500 on Joe to win at 1/4.
If Khan can pull this of, it should give him the confidence to push for a rematch with Presscot. It would be a pretty awesome way to finish his 5 fight box office deal.

What does make Joe.C then, RRJ and BH would killed if Joe.C met them in thier prime, but yet all the world now makes him out like he beat prime RJJ and BH. MAB is younger than both RJJ and BH.

is this true. i think this would be too dangerous for khan. it would be a lose lose position for him. if he wins, credit would not be given in truckloads. excuses of being shot, past his prime, which i think might be on target on this one.

if he loses, he will not command bigger purses in the future as he will be "exposed" as some of the mates here are fond of using.

A very good test for Khan if hecan't live with an aging Barrera thats it.
Khan must keeps his distance and keep firing at full speed on the outside to not get caught out.
I'm looking forward to it and on the subject of criticising Khan for fighting him,why shouldn't he Barrerra wants it he's not shot completely and Khan hasn't really fought anyone with his experience apart form Manny sparring.

    I utterly agree

The only enjoyment I got from those wins , was ( as I said Jones deserved the rough treatment ) and that it annoyed so many of the american posters on here.

The Jones victory is meaningless and the Hopkins one is only slightly better ( and to be brutally honest beofre the cards were read my gut feeling was Joe had blown it ! )

In Joes defence he's no spring chicken either !

If this fight is really on, it came out of big ****ing nowhere...

But there's definitely a lot of money in it. It's good for both fighters. Although very very early for Khan, he could say he's fighting a legend, and there's no record to protect. He's faster anyway and Freddie Roach knows his stuff. And it's good for Barrera, because he can get a top ranking position.

MAB should be heavily favored. He's over the hill, BUT never looked shot vs. JMM (very close fight) or PacMan (he rocked PacMan a few times, but refused to jump on him which was shocking for me - he just wanted to go to the distance). I don't think Khan is prepared for this version of MAB.

I guess Roach feels he has nothing to lose- if khan fails he fails

Barrera needs a new nickname.. No more babyfaced assassin.. More like Arab Assassinator! Or Muslim Manslaughterer. Pakisani Perpetratorer!

    Yeah!
