His glaring talent is only matched by his glaring flaw -- punch resistance.

I definitely think Khan is talented. In fact, I think he's easily one of the fastest fighters in the current boxing world. Maybe top five. Hell, he would be seen as fast in any era. Blinding speed. He also has a LOT of heart/guts, and when he's been floored he always comes back with guns blazing. Even against Prescott, who hit him with utterly sickening, sickening punches, he still tried to get to his feet and fight on.

The problem is that chin. Well, problem is an understatement...it's something that ruins his chances against top opposition. Maybe if he was a strictly defensive counter-puncher he could survive with it, but he's not, he's an aggressive boxer-puncher. He has the kind of style that requires a good chin to dominate the top tier.

Great way to get horizontal Khan flat on his arse again.Barrera might be showing signs of decline now but he`ll still have too much for Amir.

 

MAB is one of the most determined fighters I've ever seen. He makes great gameplans and sticks to them very well. In this fight, the gameplan seems to be pretty simple and straightforward.

Can't beat 'm with just speed, methinks.
