Khan vs Bradley is on?

This fight will define Khan. If he takes care of Bradley in style he proves he deserves all the adulation and cash.
Bradley won't be no Salita thats for sure. Bradley will come to win and only an outstanding performance from Khan can stop him.

I thought that they may put this on the undercard of Pac Man v PBF... I would be suprised if they have this contest in England, although I think that Khan could easily fill the M.E.N Arena...:yep

:good I agree with the first two points, but disagree with the fitness one. Khan has only been 12 once at 140 and Bradley has been there plenty of times. You also have to remember the intensity that Bradley fights at over the distance compared to the fighters that Khan has been 10 or 12 with. Timmy also seems to be landing with more power recently as well so I don't think it's a cert for Khan by any means. An all-round interesting fight, though.

Win or lose, Khan would deserve huge credit for taking on Bradley at this stage in his career. Given that The Ring will probably retire Pacquiao's lineal title as he doesn't seem set on fighting at 140 again, a Bradley-Khan fight would mean much more than unification of alphabet titles (people who think that the WBA will strip Khan are forgetting about their so-called 'Super Championship'): it would mean a new real champ and 'man' at the weight.

Odd fight for Khan to take at the moment, though- I think the proposed HBO mini-tourney would be a better option for him at this stage. That said, I'm all for this fight and I think I'd go to it if it were made over here:happy.

Yes, respect to khan if he does take this fight....I think bradley is all wrong for khan, khan has shown he is not the best inside fighter...which is bradley's strong point....maybe freddie roach has a few more new tricks to teach...

 

Have to agree this is a very odd choice for Khan, and as such I don't see it happening in the next year at the very least. To jump from being essentially a novice at real world class level to jumping in with Bradley, who I feel is 'the man' at 140 (Pacquiao aside), would be way more foolish than the 'mistake' Warren made in selecting Prescott.

Having said that, Roach seems to think he is ready for anyone at light-welterwight and this coupled with Amirs desire to make a name for himself in the US, means that it may force Franks hand to make a big unification fight some time soon.

If it happens then I would have to favour 'Desert Storm' as he has way more experience, in big fights and at the weight. I have seen all his fights since he beat Witter, and I must say I am very impressed with his skills. It would be a great fight to watch if only due to the superb workrate of both fighters, but I'm afraid I can only see one victor.

 

bradley would give pacquiao fits more so then hatton and cotto, in other words khan doesn't have much of a shot, even if he takes his power theres no way a fighter of khans stature could figure out a way to beat him hes too slick

 

I think this could be a fight too soon for Khan, I'd rather see him fight Devon Alexander first! Bradley is a great fighter, very strong, quick and classy! One thing going for Khan is, he's not much of a power-puncher, he's not known for his KO's where as Khan is the quickest around at LWW and can bang....so an intrigueing fight!

Good luck to Khan if this goes ahead and I hope he wins as the US will really start to take notice of him then!

This would be a great fight. Khan will be in the deep end in this one, but he can still win it.

 

I wonder if this is a way of Warren sending some messages to Khan and his backers to say 'Look I'm onto sorting out some fights with the top opposition for you, you don't have to go to the USA for them'. Also that this would be the sort of oppostion that the TV companies would require, not Salita or Kotelnik.

If Khan and his team turn their nose up at this massive risk (I also think Bradley would beat him) then the balls back in Warren's court perhaps.

Just a theory

 

It looks like Maidana v Alexander might be on for the first quarter of next year. There is no way in hell Khan will take on Bradley after having 76secs ring time to beat Salita. Another defence or two I recon. I still believe Malignaggi at the Garden is the perfect platform for the next level.
