Khan vs Broner at 140lbs. Who you got?

You need a monsterous punch to discourage khan and you have to keep hitting him till he is ko'd. I don't think Broner at 140 hits as hard as a Maidana or Garcia, it really depends if Broner can hurt khan badly to stop him otherwise khan UD.

 

Depends on which type of Khan turns up, a patient Khan working off the jab Khan gives Broner problems he has never seen.

Broner power at 140 would also play a part, he looks very strong at 135 and big for the weight.

Khan style would keep Broner on the back foot and off balance with Khan's straight punches Broner don't really bend his hips, he more so backs up or tries to cover up and unlike his stance his defence is no where near as good as his big bro Floyd.

Just Khans size, speed, and jab causes problems to Broner can he make adjustments and time Khan and hurt him? Maybe..

But Khan is bigger and faster than Broner..

 

He had no business getting hit as much as he did. Rees having no power doesn't change the fact he got outlanded in 2 rounds, and was getting hit even when Broner was able to drop him. The body was completely open, he eat lots of right hands over the top and sneaky left hooks. This isn't Broner being careless, this is Broner having the same flaws he did when he fought Ponce De Leon.

Problem with this match up, or any match up with Broner at 140lbs is...he hasn't fought at that weight.

Khan is very hard to predict in a match up and always has been. Balance and punch resistance is against him (assuming Broner can carry the power he has shown), whereas speed of hand and foot is in his favour.

I'd favour Khan simply due to him showcasing his ability at the weight and picking up some very solid wins in the process.

 

I reckon Khan could make him look stupid but he'd need to be very careful or he could also be knocked out

Funny thing about Garcia......... he wasn't considered any type of puncher umtil AFTER he KO'd Khan.

Broner has better power than Garcia, and FAAARRRRRR more handspeed.

 

You can't say he has better power until he hits a solid 140-pounder. And I'm pretty sure Garcia was considered a puncher going into the first Morales fight. The question was whether Garcia would get to him.

 

I don't see any evidence yet that Broners power is anywhere close to that of a garcia a mathysse or a maidana even.

 

Khan doesn't have any power either to keep someone honest and fearful of attacking that Glass Jaw.

You don't need power to knock Khan down anyway he has been put on his ass before by completely feather fisted fighters.

Khan has way too many issues: no Chin, No stamina, no ring IQ, no infighting ability to deal with someone like Broner.

Not saying Broner is anything great but he would box Khan to death or KO him.

What's happened to you man? I didn't think you'd be one of the ones hating on Ricky Burns RTB.
You need to read some of the posts from Burns fans since last night.And it only proves that many are amongst the most level-headed fans on this board.
You'll always get a minority with any fighter who go too far,but the hatred that Burns gets,when he's one of the most genuine and humble guys in the sport,is totally beyond me.
