Dude, I like Khan a whole lot. Met him a few times. Top man. I just think he is too free-wheeling unless Virgil remodels him completely.

He is 1-2 vs BIG punchers.

I don't doubt he hits hard. But he's never fought above 135.

Khans father, Lamont Peterson, claims Broner is the fastest fighter he's been in the ring with..

Yeah, but that was probably down to the speed Lamont was taking.

I'm not even saying Broner can't beat Khan. I just think now this fight is far too early for Broner. Khan's a big guy coming in the ring at 150, who will be faster than anyone he's ever faced and hit harder than anyone he ever faced.

People seem to forget the Ponce De Leon fight pretty quickly and have Broner down as some untouchable star of boxing. I don't know if it's the **** in the US boxing media, like putting him in the p4p list without fighting anyone. This Broner hype is getting far too carried away for me.

Hopefully we'll see it one day.

Broner! Peterson gave Khan hell on the inside. Broner is a better inside fighter than Peterson and he hits harder is faster with a higher ring IQ as well. He would make Khan run around the ring trying to get away from him on the inside. Broner by UD or late TKO.:deal

So because a BIG 140lb fighter, who was on the juice, was able to bully Khan on the inside that means an untested, smaller 135lbs fighter will do the same to a guy bigger than anyone he's fought before?

Broner breaks Khan down and stops him late. Too much inside fighting ability, Khan still looks somewhat lost on the inside. Broner picks his shots on the inside and switches up his attack from head to body as good as anyone in the sport today. Khan would be running all over the ring looking for a place to lie down by the 9th round. Broner by TKO is my pick:deal

Go back to reading ring magazine and stop posting in my threads newb. This is for people who know boxing.

He isn't THAT hard to hit. Just because he tries Mayweather's defence does not mean he is Mayweather.

Right now I would take Khan. Purely because I've not seen any evidence of Broner being as effective at 140 against bigger guys.

If Broner goes up well he would beat Khan, if not he wouldn't.

Khan can't fight on the inside the juice has nothing to do with it. Peterson who has a low ring IQ and average footwork was able to get inside easily on Khan. Broner would do the same but more since he's a more complete fighter than Peterson is. On the outside Broner can handle his own unlike Peterson.

For some reason I don't even think this fight happens. Khan goes to 147 pretty soon IMO

broner has had a few fights at 135/140 already. Won't be surprised if were to fight Maidana/Matthysse/Garcia at some point.
