That's a very good point as it appears Khan has accepted the rehydration clause on Brook's behalf... lol
Khan is not a real fighter to be making these demands just to gain an advantage. I don't wanna hear none of this 'khan is a warrior' bull****. Can you imagine true warriors like Nigel Benn, Arturo Gatti, Antonio Margarito, Carl Froch pulling some **** like this lol it would never happen. Khan fought at 154 against Lo Greco and hasn't won a world title fight since 2011 lol. This fight should have been made at 150/151. The funny thing is though, even a weight starved depleted weaker Brook will still knock this privileged china chinned bum out with a highlight reel KO.
You can divide Khan's career into two sections pre-Garcia and post-Garcia. Prior to that fight he did seem open to taking on anyone, after it.... obsessed with cash-out fights, firstly with Mayweather, then Manny and now Brook. The frustration with Khan is not what he has become but what he could have been....
I disagree . If you look at his resume.. its full of feather fisted fighters with low KO ratios (or average power max) and past it names. When he was a lightweight coming up at domestic/european level he didn't want any part of Jon Thaxton, John Murray, Yuri Romanov, Ricky Burns, Kevin Mitchell. He never fought in British or European title fights. He didn't wanna face the best lightweights in the world at the time - Juan Diaz, Juan Manuel Marquez , Nate Campbell, Michael Katsidis etc. Campbell even offered to come to his hometown Bolton. He skipped lightweight for the much weaker light welterweight division where there was a weak feather fisted champion to cherry pick in the very average Kotelnik, and defended against the similarly feather fisted Malignaggi. Judah was totally past it, and Danny Garcia was a cherry pick gone wrong at the time - no one rated Garcia then -he'd struggled with a past it out of retirement Morales and got a gift against Theophane, Khan was a massive favourite. He only fought Maidana cause he had to cause it was his mandatory.
Maybe I was being generous based on Maidana mainly. But his avoidance of any real threat diminished even further after the Garcia fight. Karma dictates he gets KTFO by Brook....
If Khan really believed he could win he wouldn't be adding pathetic clauses like this. Kell still stops him.
The lustre leaked out of this fight when Kell moved to 154. He should be going after the champs there instead of a glass jawed welter weight.
This fight was never really that hot... Domestic rivals who hated each other was the sole stale headline.
