Does anybody know the time weigh in for the hydration weigh in? If it is early in the day, it is pointless. Too close to fight time and Brook my enter the ring dry.

 

You misunderstood the point.

Khan has bigger drawing power - for what it's worth - than Brook. His fan base is bigger and he'll fill more seats than Brook.

I never implied Khan was a huge draw with PPV potential. On a global scale he is nothing. However, between the two of them, Khan is more successful for a reason.

 

Kell dad won't agree to the rehydration clause. This killed him in the Spence fight he had to cut weight 2 times for that fight. Dominic knows he be less than 100% if that happens. Amirnget him to 147 then have a fair fight and best man wins. For god sake

 

Khan gets no focking credit. 147 with a rehydration clause GTFO.

 

Why can't they weigh the same on the same night? Why does Brook have to weigh in heavier than Khan, considering he is already the naturally bigger fighter?

Because in the situation you're proposing, one fighter is at his best while the other is weight drained. Brook is already going to struggle making 147 the day before.

 

Brook is a CAREER welterweight. He has been there for 14 years - with the exception of the GGG and his last fight - so why is he STRUGGLING to make a weight he has made his entire professional career?

Why is he crying about the hydration clause when then IBF have the exact same clause in place? I know this is not an IBF fight but if Brook wants it then he'll have to agree to it.

He wants a size advantage over Khan and Khan is taking it away from him. This is why Brook is so upset, because his biggest play (in case the fight went into later rounds) was to use a size/strength advantage over Khan and that is now potentially gone.

 

Whatever dude. Khan is draining Brook down to a weight he's going to kill himself to make and then on top of that preventing him from rehydrating properly. What a joke.

Either the career welterweight boxer can make welterweight or he cannot.

If he cannot and has been struggling then he should have moved up years ago and started looking past Khan years ago as well.

I hope Khan does drain him and put the hydration clause in place. The only reason why Brook wanted the fight was because he had a size advantage and now that is gone.

And I dont even like Khan. I just dislike Brook even more.

You said it yourself, her's been there for 14 years. Don't you think at some point, with age increasing, it becomes more difficult? Because that's EXACTLY what happens with boxers.

 

Brook has been struggling for years at WW but he stuck around hoping for a Khan fight, even when Khan was at 140lbs.
