I can understand Khan's team pushing for the best deal and I also get why delaying the fight and making it harder for Brook to make 147 is a smart move too; he's just trying to equalise the odds. Kell has already made a huge concession by agreeing to 147 when he could easily claim if Khan went up to 155 for Canelo he could make 154 for Brook. That would have left the fight dead in the water and if Brook wanted to swerve, this would have been the way to do it.

But Khan has to realise this is a domestic fight and the US audience for a fight which would be aired non prime time is not a major factor. UK PPV and a stadium fight is where the cash is, and in that respect Khan has to accept he's not the draw he once was to British sports fans. 50/50 is a bang on fair offer...

Khan didn't seem to be speaking too well in his last few interviews. I really don't think he needs that chin shattering again.

Unless he gets a ridiculous offer, he'll either go back to cherry picking feather-fisted opponents, or retire. For his health I'd suggest the latter.

Is that right? I didn't know that. You'd think he'd want to avenge a loss wouldn't you?

And he won't enforce it for the 25% mandatory split either.

Khan IMO is ripping the UK fans off and seems to put the american fans and market before the UK boxing fans
UK killing the boxing scene and khan wants no mpart of it

I want a happy family some one should tell him money can't buy you happiness

Khan looked lost in that interview to me

I lose interest in this fight almost daily. I'd much rather Brook-Spence and then Khan against maybe Porter.

Khan has no interest in giving the UK fans the fight they want.

Funny though as he is getting absolutely ripped on Twitter by everyone

    Brooks last tweet was brilliant

So how many excuses we had now?

    1. Khan tells Brook too win a world title?
    2. Khan says he doesn't like Brook and won't fight him.
    3. Khan tells Brook to fight a big name.
    4. Khan wants 70/30 split

Amir Khan is living, breathing contradiction.

Khan never had any intention of taking this fight. He knows deep down that brook knocks him out. He dislikes Brook so much that he wouldn't be able to stomach a defeat to him.

So he is now slyly doing a ward and putting in token gesture offers that he knows full well will be rejected.
