The irony for khan is he himself has to take a low ball offer for garcia/thurman if he wants a title. Otherwise how much is he making fighting guys like jessie vargas.

Both guys were knocked out or brutally stopped in their last fights also. So what does that leave, Brook's world title? Something he defended against the WORST opposition out there, so it has little value as well especially as the likes of Thurman, Garcia, Pacquiao, Bradley etc are all still around and all still strong contenders.

Brook is hedging his bets on the 50-50 split based on the PPV numbers against Golovkin but in reality that was an isolated event. Golovkin could have fought any UK contender and drawn such strong numbers as he was the main attraction and draw.

I think 60-40 Khan:Brook is fair. It's probably a fight Brook wins via TKO and it'll put him in a strong bargaining position against other WW contenders too. At this stage, Brook NEEDS Khan for a big pay day.

Spot on. Couldnt be happier how it turned out for him. If he was willing to go in with guys and actually beat them to earn the fight. No one would have complained. Just wish there was things in place to stop it happening.

Its a sad state of affairs when you ve got brook jumping two weight classes to fight golovkin and khan jumping up to fight canelo. When you could and should be having canelo v golovkin. And khan v brook. Madness.

 

It makes Brook look weak then, he wants to fight a perceived weak WW who was knocked unconscious in his last fight? Fight a real challenge in Errol Spence or the regular established and ACTIVE welterweights. It looks like Brook is going for an easy fight and avoiding the real challenges. No wonder Khan wants to dangle the carrot in front of him and take it away.
