Everyone mentions Khan's glass jaw but he has taken some big shots in fights before and not gone down - Maidana fight, for instance. I see Khan winning on points.

    Great stuff Rummy!

I lean slightly toward Khan too as I think Brook is more psychologically shot - whilst Bud is a great finisher, Brook really looked to be suffering from the mental scars of two broken orbital sockets; the jab Bud caught him with was solid, but not anything that would have troubled the old Kell.

That said, Khan's tendency to leave his chin in the air means that Kell could spark him at any time as well.

The grudge nature of this might elevate Brook out of his mental issues - if Khan tags him decent on either of those eyes, a lot of the fight is going to come down to how Brook deals with that. If he is too gunshy, then I could see Khan with a mid-round stoppage.

Be interesting to see if brook will actually make weight. If he has then he’s taken this seriously and not just here for a payday. I reckon both retire after this fight

I have no idea how you can pick Khan here.

Khan has fought 4 times in the last 6 years.

    - 40 sec against Lo Greco who hasn't fought since then (probably retired, idk)
    - UD Win over Sam Vargas where he was dropped and hurt several times, compare that to Vargas losses against Benn or Ortiz Jr; outside the UK the scorecards would have been a lot closer too
    - pathetic quit job against Bud after getting his ass kicked for 6 rounds (which is no shame)
    - TKO over Dib who is a natural Super Featherweight (what a joke of a god damn fight)

    Followed by another 31-month-layoff. LMFAO.

While i'm not sold on Brook at this point, he looked good against Crawford early on and won rounds. He also beat the crap out of tough DeLuca and stopped him. And while Zerafa was drained to hell he also dominated that fight and Zerafa is a big dude with a good punch.

There is no way you can favor Khan in this matchup. Even if he wins the first three rounds as soon as things go south he's going to quit or panic and Brook will KTFO him.

I wouldn't bet a penny on this fight but my gut and head is straight forward Brook all day. Imo Khan is a total clown and nutjob who only fights for money these days and has zero fighting spirit left. I think Brook actually has something left albeit it won't be enough to get in the mix again.

Khan needs a vintage performance over 12 rounds with a strong mental state and i just don't see that happening in 2022.

Brook either by wide UD after hurting Khan and Khan going the Marathon route to survive. Or Brook by stoppage when Khan does something silly.

I don't have a dog in this but you left out Brook initially looked good early on in GGG & Spence fights & TBH , I think had GGG not softened Brook up Spence may have a harder nights work...Brook stops the celebrity poser...

Tbh i didn't even go back to those fights as Brook had a long layoff between Zerafa and DeLuca. I don't think Brook at this point is comparable to the version that fought Spence and GGG in 2016 & 2017 but yeah Brook was game early against GGG and also had his moments against Spence.

I dunno, Khan did take some extended pounding from Maidana and Garcia. Mightn't have seemed all that protracted, but a few minutes is a long time when you're already as hurt as he was in those fights and taking extra battering. It's a wonder he stood up to some of the shots he absorbed from Danny in-between the first knockdown and the cuffing hook high on the head that did bring about the conclusion. And Chino gave him a frightful beating in the late rounds (notwithstanding Khan's game rally in the 11th).
