Khan vs Castillo

Its this last bit I have a problem with, its the kind of thing you would hear one of the General Forum ******s coming off with.

Khan is still all about the potential. Beating Kotelnik basically lifted the shadow cast by the defeat to Prescott, made you think Khan could have a future in the sport again. The win over Salita didn't prove ****, just as Hamed's win over Said Lawal in his first defence didn't prove ****.

Thats why I have a problem with that quote. Could Khan beat everyone on that list? Maybe he could. But as of this moment its still about the potential, and we basically have no idea how Khan would cope with likes of Maidana, Katsidis and Valero. There is a chance (don't hate me for this) that any one of those three could steamroll over Khan, basically because he hasn't fought anyone on that level that brings that much intensity and power. The question marks regarding Khan have not just disappeared all of a sudden.

I just think, as of this moment, its totally daft to say that Khan will automatically beat the best guys in and around his division, not even taking into account the different styles and achievements of the guys listed

 

Just make sure the guy is well up in the ranking, can punch a bit and at least HAS a heart, its a good start.

 

Oh aye, forgot to add, give the guy a set of bollocks for christ sake
