How is Gainer a better fight than Fewkes?

This is arguably "Team Khan's" worst decision yet, this guy has fought just 4 times in 5 years

yeah i read it on the scene, you know, about boxing.

gainer rejected the original offer as he was going to fight on the joe c - RJJ undercard. As this has been put back to November, he can accomdate khan (and Frank Warrens money - i expect he'll get paid significantly more than 30k).

at least this means he'll probably already be in training.

It's better than Fewkes, that would be pointless. And it's definately a step up from Gomez - at least Gainer was once world class.

Frank can't take any risks as he has so few boxers left, He wont be making another Enzo v Haye move for a long, long while
Who is Frank's TV deal with for this fight then?

gainer has boxed at lightweight for his last couple.

fought at super feather in the past as well.

    and he's rangy. :bbb

could be potentially dangerous if gainer has something left. :yep

So from shot superfeather to inactive feather

I understand Michael Hunter is looking for a new opponent, followed by Ian Napa and Chris Edwards....

This true. Im surprised Gainer took the bout. What a fall from grace. He`d be better of retiring.
