Totally disagree, mayweather had the fight under his control at almost all times, he clinched and made it impossible for ricky to do anything and when he wanted space he just backed of and hit ricky with straight rights and left hooks, hatton dictated little in that fight

On the khan hatton fight it will happen, too much money for it not to, if rubio can teach khan some defence i would pick him to beat ricky as hatton is very much a fighter in decline

    Good post.

I think it is for these reasons that Hatton would not take the fight.

I think Hatton thinks he is the best fighter to come out of the UK. He dodged Witter for years because he was scared to lose to another Brit. Losing to Khan would not be good for Hatton's "legacy".

If I was to build a fighter for Hatton to beat up on, I would build something similar to Khan.

Lack of power, can't fight on the inside at all, can't stop his opponent from getting on the inside, a long body and shown a weakness to body shots and a glass chin........his weaknesses all play to Hatton's strengths.

Even a declining Hatton would destroy Khan, it's the perfect fight for him.

I dont think Khan has a lack of power, he's never going to be a one punch specialist but the speed and accuracy of his punches would affect anyone.

Glass chin? are you having a laugh mate? Walking through Tszyu's best shots doesnt happen if you have a glass chin.

Any version of Hatton would eat any version of Khan alive.

Honestly Khan had all he could handle with Gomez who isnt a big puncher and certainly isnt a big Lightweight yet some people are saying he can beat Hatton.....for **** sake guys that is pure blatant hatred for Hatton.

Hatton is very fast, he closed ranks on Mayweather despite losing and if he can get Floyd to the ropes he sure as hell can get Khan. Plus Hatton is the stronger fighter, better chin and Ricky is the bigger puncher in my opinion.

Hatton brutal stoppage in 3 or 4

I'd agree that Prime Hatton stops or KO's Khan.

I think Hatton is fading fast though unless the Lazcano fight was a one-off because I think he looked terrible in that one and seemed to get hit way too often and was hurt a couple of times.

Will be interesting to see how Hatton performs in November.

I agree that Hatton didnt look superb against Lazcarno but even that performance would be more than enough to beat Mr Khan.

Also although Lazcarno didnt have many rounds under his belt he is a very tough and hurtful puncher who is a proven wrold level fighter unlike Khan.

Im not really disagreeing with you its just i dont see what Khan has done that can make anyone think he has what it takes at world level at Light Welterweight.

Remember the two fighters that have hurt Khan are blown up Super Feathers and Ricky is a very big Light Welter.

the violence in the ring will spread out of the the MENS arena to the streets of greater manchester, the fight shouldnt happen fullstop.

That'd be worth watching on sky news.

Hatton's white, fat, crew cut chav fans Vs Khan's oi oi's who multiply by the second.

Prime Hatton would seriously brutalise the Khan we've seen so far, let's be sensible, they are worlds and worlds apart in the class they've operated in, their achievements, and in size too! What else is there to say?

I think we're probably looking at Khan's stock being too high and Hatton's too low just now. Hatton has gone from p4p material to losing to Khan in 8 months? Nah.

The trajectories of each guy suggest that in 18 months this could be a viable fight. But if Hatton is still fighting that far past his peak he needs his arse kicking anyway for greed and stupidity.

If Hatton gets past Pac in a spring fight, he might be tempted to hang on for Khan late summer/ early autumn....

Khan doesn't even know what inside fighting is. Unless he can somehow knock Hatton out the very first time Hatton comes in then this fight ends early.
