Khan vs JMM - Who wins? (June 2010 poll)

    This is a response to a previous Khan vs JMM poll (begun in December 2009 by BigBone). Before that thread was unearthed by the creator, 62% expected a JMM victory, whilst the remaining 37% went for Khan (1% draw).

    Now I understand that a lot has changed since the December of last year (mainly Khan's impressive destruction of Paulie). So what I'd like to know now is, how much this fight has changed the perception of ESB posters in regards to this fight.

    Honest votes please, with of course reasons...

    (I predicted a Marquez stoppage before, but will now be going for a Khan decision)

    Khan, Marquez can't perform above 135 and will be 37 by the time the fight happens

    Link to previous poll? I want to see how many people have changed their minds on the basis of deciding that JMM is now 'shot' despite him not having fought in the meantime....:lol::lol:

    Kahn is no Mayweather, and JMM owns Freddie Roach. Look for JMM to hurt Kahn in this fight and win by either stoppage or decision.

    Yep I'm inclined to agree with you. Prior to the Malignaggi bout I thought JMM's counter-punching and exceptional combinations, would off-set Khan's speed and work-rate. Not so sure about that now

    You reckon?

    Don't you think JMM's slight decline and Khan's vast improvements, will work against the Mexican?

    khan will keep him at the end of the jab and right hand. he is too tall and fast for him

    but i would be more shocked if marquez won by decision then if marquez stopped him

    I haven't seen a "slight decline" in JMM. I saw him come off two of his greatest victories, and then get outclassed by Mayweather. I still don't know what he has left, so I'm going to assume he's still the guy who destroyed Diaz....and pick him to beat Kahn. :deal

    I think Khan wins it.He is getting better all the time.He has stopped taking risks with the chin and i think he would be able to keep Marquez away with the jab.Last year i would have picked Marquez but i think they are now fighters going in opposite directions,Amir is heading towards his prime and Marquez has had his best years now.
