He's also a classic case of a fighter who loses almost every time he steps up. He's most famous for having a few good rounds against Floyd, momentarily stunning Cotto and doing the chicken dance against Tszyu.
Yep. That's why he would be a good trial-horse at this stage. Obviously, the winner of Bradley-Alexander should fight Khan at some point next year, but there would be nothing wrong in both Khan and the winner of that fight having opponents beforehand, to (a) test them and (b) built them up a bit.
I agree. GBP's preliminary plan, Judah in January then Bradley/Alexander in June, seems like a very good idea. I read over at Ring's website that Ortiz is also in play for January.
Ortiz should rematch Maidana. Besides Judah would probably be an easier fight I think, and a better tuneup.
As long as they fight the Bradley - Alexander winner in the summer, then I'm good with the Judah fight.
Judah is past his prime, but no way is he shot. Mathysse is not a bad fighter at all, but we all know 140 Judah is a different beast and a better fighter. Would be a good fight for both. I hope they give it the green light. I'm much more interested in a Khan-Bradley fight, but wouldn't mind seeing Maidana-Judah, Alexander-Judah, or Maidana-Alexander. So many great fights to be made.
Leon is fully capable for speaking for himself, but no I don't think you upset him, you just made a **** point that he took exception to. Hope this helps, good day.
judah has way too many chances ...good experiance at 140 for khan though. fast southpaw for the first 5 rounds anyway, then khan will take over. i'd rather see ortiz fight khan if its not bradley/alexander. ortiz had a bad decision go against him yesterday. he's good contender at 140 and would be a decent name on khan resume
