Khan vs Katsids

Khan should be heavily favored of course.......but if Katsidis lands that beaut of a short hook he landed on Marquez, does anyone here believe Khan gets up from that????

 

I'm wondering if he even goes down from it.

Yeah just saw an article on sky sports news about this, should be a great fight, Khan to win tbh, after that Maidana fight i think he is capable of anything now.

I don't think Khan gets up from that shot, if that happens early in the fight and he does somehow get up, he's in real trouble.

This is a very tough fight for Amir to take, he has my respect again for this if it goes ahead. Good to see Katsidis getting these recent big fights too.

 

Would they put Khan in with another beast right away?

 

I think Khan is all wrong for Mick but a lot of fighters are all wrong for him and he finds away to turn that around with his strength and will.

Id love to see this fight...and Id love to see Mick get handsomely rewarded for it, win or lose.

 

Love to see Michael back in England again, I like this fight. Khan heavily favoured but I wouldnt be surprised if it went 7-8. I think Khan will try and learn something about being pressured in this fight, I don't think Kats has the power to truely hurt Khan coming up from lightweight.

Still fight sells well as a warm up and the fact that UK knows Kats and that it's a given he will be bringing his best (the image of him stopping undefeated Kevin Mitchell in what was a hyped to the max Frank Warren show will also of caught the general public too)

Although I do see the same result as a Khan Prescott fight if they are calling up lightweights (I'm aware Prescott has tried to follow Khan up) so question is, what sells more? Conquerer of 2 Brits and an Aussie to boot - Michael Katsidis OR The Man who flattened Amir in under a minute and a good revenge tale.

I feel Kats is the better fighter and deserves this more.

I wish JMM was free for this next fight rather than fighting Morales - both men get much more props and its more even, Khan is fighting THE Lightweight (not just anyone when calling up a fighter in weight) in a warm up and JMM would have that 4th title opportunity also he's an ATG and what better way than to chase Pac and strengthen the call for a 3rd fight in the future than to take on his stable mate and prodigy and try to derail his train to the top?

How can the promoters and fighters not see that this is where this fight fits? Also both men coming off two of 2010 FOTY contenders? How does it not sell major at Wembley or MEN, maybe even the Reebok stadium if Bolton Wanderers fancied doing a true homecoming for Khan?

great fight - props to khan for fighting another tougher pressure fighter with KO power.

As we all know that is khan's Achilles heal so fighting another will get respect.

Although katsidis may not be as effective at light welter. Still a good fight though.

I predict a klhan win via stoppage in 8

 

Khans team dont even have Katsidis in the mix....the fight wont get made

 

Hopefully Katsidi's last fight, go out with a bang and a pay day. But here's hoping for the upset.
