But Maidana was fighting Corley, who is shot, so it's possible he didnt train hard, but Kotelnik wasnt shot, he was a world champion going into his last fight and was beaten by one of Alexander's rivals, surely you'd be motivated to beat the guy just as convincingly as a potential opponent.

When was he a shot fighter? When he was in his peak? I mean **** lol. But you can say Corley is past his best days. If you look at all of his 14 losses, 3 of them were by ko. But you can make a case that it should be 2 ko on his record instead of 3 cause i thought and many did as well thought Cotto tko Corley was a hometown stoppage.

 

Corley is a good fighter. He has had some bad breaks though.
