**Khan vs Maidana: December 12th Who Wins And How?**

Will be tough fight for Khan. He did not want that fight! Should be exciting fight though!

 

Khan never protects his body and likes to hold inside. Watch some Maidana fights and see how you think that's gonna work out for Khan.

Khan isn't a stick and move fighter. He's a jump-in-while-punching-and-then-hold fighter. He doesn't press the attack when he has an advantage. In other words, this fight is going to be Khan coming in and landing a few good shots, then trying to hold on while Maidana bangs away at him. Repeat.

Khan's stance and reliance on the jab absolutely invites the right hand. Maidana is brilliant at landing the right from all kinds of angles.

Maidana's high defense and right-hand counterpunching will nullify the jab from Khan more often than not.

Maidana will probably stop Khan around round 8 or 9, probably dropping him once or twice in the round before finishing him. Khan will be ahead on points at the time though.

Maidana's right hand counter over Khan's jab.

Maidana constantly hitting the back of Khan's head while being held.

Maidana's high guard (which will prevent Khan from out-speeding him like he did to Malignaggi). Those straight 1-2's won't work on a dude who keeps his arms stiff and high.

Khan's total lack of defense.

Khan's total lack of inside fighting skill.

Khan's total lack of punch resistance.

Khan's inability to use the jab effectively (think Alexander vs. Kotelnik)

Khan's unwillingness to go to the body.
