    AMIR KHAN has signed a contract to defend his WBA world light-welterweight title against Marcos Maidana in Las Vegas on December 11.

    Brit Khan, 23, ended months of drawn-out negotiations by paying his mandatory opponent around £650,000 to face him at Vegas' Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino.
    Argentine Maidana wanted more than £1million - three times his usual fight fee - but trimmed his demands to stop the bout going to purse bids.
    The clash will be screened by Sky Box Office, with Khan picking up around £1m as well as getting to keep the British TV rights.
    The Bolton star is making his third title defence and boasts 23 wins from 24 outings. Maidana, 27, has also lost just once in 30 fights.

    I think Khan will box Maidana. He wins most likely on points unless Maidana catches his face.

    While i will give him his props and he has earned alot more respect for taking the fight. Khans fans are making themselves look just as bad as his haters by hugely celebrating the fact that he has just agreed to fight his MANDATORY.

    That's true but it's more about the haters questioning Khan's balls. Khan's balls were never in question. He always wanted Maidana and the satisfaction of everyone proved wrong is great, not so much about the actual fight itself, but just proving haters wrong.

    Lol, the haters have been saying Khan would not have the balls and give up his belt rather than sign. When he signs you say the Khan group shouldn't celebrate so loudly. GTFO.

    The fall season is shaping up to look pretty darn good.
