Both fighters are at least in the argument for those distinctions, right? Since this is the case, how can Khan possibly overcome this? Surely Maidana will land at least once, won't he?

Abraham hits way harder than Maidana

i doubt Maidana will be able to get the leverage on his punches to knock out Khan. expect to see him outclassed.

For ****s sake, some people seem to think that simply touching Khans chin will result in a KO :patsch

They're both in the running for those titles anyway. While some people on here go overboard to a ridiculous degree when it comes to chins, Khan's is pretty awful.

Since the Prescott loss however, under Roach, he fights in a much more intelligent style. A solid punch will still put him in trouble but you're going to have to work a lot harder to land it.

Maidana is very heavy-handed but he throws looping punches and doesn't have expecially fast hands. Khan will have to concentrate for every second but he should be able to see the big shots coming, and avoid them.

  7. A fly landed on Khan's chin and he ended up getting stitches. True, this happened 3 years ago, but still.

It's true. He has decent hand speed, alright foot speed, and his technique/defense isn't ****. He's a slugger but not a brawler. It doesn't mean he'll necessarily win, but the skill disparity isn't quite as gigantic as some people think. Khan is rightly the favorite, but you never know.
