Khan VS Maidana with 8-ounce gloves...

    According to Dan Rafeal fight is with 8-ounce gloves.

    So who will get more benifit ??

    Most would say Maidana but the advantage is Khan. alot of leather with 8 ounce gloves = cuts galore. considering khan's gameplan is to safely pepper him from a distance with longer straight shots this makes it more likely for HIM to get the stoppage rather than Maidana who could take out khan with 1 shot regardless of 8 10 or 12 ounce..

    Looks like Khan is going to cut up Maidana nice and dandy.

    Yeah I was thinking same, Khan will have speed advantage at 8oz.

    With Khans chin and Maidana's power it dont matter even if they use these gloves:-

    A flush shot can floor Khan.

    Khan can stop Maidana with more ease with 8 oz gloves IMO, so it favours Khan,

    I dont think it is going to make much difference because Khan is probably going to fight at range and use angles he isnt going to trade with him.

    If he does get caught flush a few times hes gonna go down no matter what size gloves Maidana has on.

    This will favor Khan will i feel as his punches will be even faster vs Maidana open/poor defence.

    Pac wears 8oz aswell? isnt it?

    Hey Dan, I've heard some rumblings about Khan-Maidana being fought with 10 ounce gloves instead of 8 since they're fighting in Vegas. Can you clear this up?

    Them Reebok gloves are pretty puffy/big anyway, even at 8oz they will be big.

    I'm not sure if he wears Reebok gloves most likely Lonsdale, I think only the logo is Reebok but maybe I am wrong.
