Maidana's one of the few guys in the weight class I would pick to beat Khan. Maidana by mid-rounds KO.

Just for the record, are you defining Maidana as a 'proper world class talent'? If not, please give some examples...

no i'm not defining maidana as world class talent, and i know kotelnik beat him, but i feel maidana will give him so many more problems that kotelnik. IMO bradley and campbell, hell even victor ortiz and junior witter could take him, hes just far too vunerable to a powerful shot.

Maidana beat the crap out of Kotelnik anyway, it was just another bull**** German decision.

Khan would outbox him, Maidana is semi at best, Ortiz fought a stupid fight and ended up being out slugged, you need more than just power to win a boxing match and Maidana is not exactly the most technical of boxers. If he landed he could hurt Khan but I dont think he will land that bingo punch, Khan will hit him and hit him often and probably stop him late on accumulation, Maidana's defence is not great. Khan will get through. Most Americans would probably disagree with me seeing as their golden boy got the **** beat out of him. Did I mention Taylor, yeah that's right Taylor could be added to that list too lol, Im just joshin with ya :yep. Khan UD or late TKO, Im not following hype. Khan would outbox him.

I would agree if you were talking about Urango, but unlike Urango, Maidana appears to know how to cut off the ring.

maidana would utterly destroy khan. there is no way in hell khan's gonna be able to apply that amateur style to a guy who's cutting off the ring, pressuring the **** out of him throwing massive bombs the ENTIRE fight. maidana by brutal KO.

Obviously it doesn't always work out, but Khan easily beat Kotelnik who beat Maidana so the form line favours Khan to win. And yes know there are countless examples where this reasoning doesn't hold true, but it does far more times than it doesn't

generally only with non-elite fighters. mosley beat DLH twice, lost to forrest twice, forrest lost to mayorga twice, DLH and mosley both KO'd mayorga, so on and so on. styles make fights. who beat who on an elite level doesn't mean ****.
