That fight was good, but I don't think there's any point to having it again. There are so many bigger fights out there for Khan.

Yet Khan and his fans are desperate for a rematch with Garcia. Why does Khan deserve to avenge his loss whereas Maidana gets overlooked? It wasn't like Maidana was knocked out by Khan. Garcia should tell Khan to give Maidana a rematch before Danny fights Amir again. Every true boxing fan should want the Khan-Maidana rematch unless all you care about is the amount of money Khan makes.

 

I'd like to see it after Alexander, Mayweather, Garcia and Peterson. It would be a great fight but there are other options.

 

maidana's power is proven at 147(presumably the fight would take place here) whereas khans has yet to be determined.

khan is finished as an elite fighter. anyone that gambles on boxing knows that hes a fade(I am an amir fan).

Garcia would beat him again and more than likely maidana would ko him.

you simply cannot survive on the top level with no punch resistance regardless of your skillset(it is undeniable that khan has excellent skills along with heart).

tyrell biggs is a very good example of this.

 

Maidana has a style that is more fan friendly than what most of those guys bring to the table. What you're telling me is Maidana should wait at the very end of the line. Now what if Garcia says the same thing to Khan? In that case Maidana should take Garcia's spot for now. After all, Maidana-Khan was more competitive than Garcia-Khan.

Khan actually has horrible skills. That's always been one of the biggest problems.

"Skills" include such things as punch selection, balance, ring generalship, footwork, arsenal of punches, in-fighting ability, ect.

Khan has NONE of that. What he has is his speed, which fools ppl into thinking he's "skilled".
