Khan vs Malignaggi

Probably a narrow Khan points win.

 

On the basis that Malignaggi's defence is nowhere near as good as Kotelnik's - Khan by UD or late stoppage.

 

Khan should go for this fight. It's not as risky as the other big names in the division, and I can see him winning this one.

 

I think it would be a horrible fight.

 

I agree completely with that. I don't see it working as a boxing spectacle.

I can honestly see Paulie being back to his best. He's back where he belongs and is done with that useless **** Buddy McGirt. I see him outpointing Khan, maybe even a late stoppage

I wouldn't be surprised at all if the fight happened either. PM has mentioned wanting to fight him and Frank Warren doesn't think much of Paulie so he might not think of it as much of a risk.

 

Beating Paulie would do nothing to further Khan's reputation, Paulie is a joke. He showed himself to be a true coward in the Hatton fight. Malignaggi has zero credibility with British boxing fans, he robbed us all of the £15 each of us paid for that 'fight', and we'd be laughing at him if we weren't so pissed off at him for ripping us off.

After feeling Hatton's power in the first round, he wasn't interested, and spent the whole of the fight sticking a wayward jab out in the general direction of Hatton before ducking and holding whenever he could, scared shitless of getting KTFO and damaging his 'rep' amongst his homeboys from Brooklyn. It is the most spineless, gutless performance I have ever seen from a professional boxer.

The only way Khan could enhance his reputation amongst us Brits if he took this fight is by giving Malignaggi a severe beating and stopping him early.

 

Khan would KO Malignaggi inside 5 rounds.

 

cotto couldnt knock him out, hatton wouldnt have been able to if paulies corner hadnt stepped in, but suprisingly i think khan KO's mallignagi in 6 rounds easy, maybe alot less.
Khan isnt as powerful as cotto or hatton, but his hands are so quick paulie wouldnt be able to dodge him the whole fight like cotto and hatton. Khan based his carrer for the first 12 fights or so on mallinagi clones, and this may sound ridiculous, but I could see kahn knocking him out in even the first or second round, thats what he used to do to all the others.

 

Khan is feather fisted at 140. Most of his punches land only on the gloves anyway. Khan's Chin is bad enough that Malignaggi could KO him with the right punch.

 

Khan's power is vastly overrated. Paulie has been fighting at 140 for quite sometime now, and I still stand by the opinion that Paulie TKO's Khan.

If Khan lost by KO that would be worse than Mundine getting KTFO by Otkke.
