At least nacho realizes Marquez was exploited to make Mayweather look good.

That's about right and doesn't want it to happen again with Khan.

Those articles don't say Marquez has actually rejected the offer, they're just stating Nacho's skepticism. Which I find very interesting, it seems as though Nacho isn't confident in his fighters ability to beat Khan.

Khan has got potential but marquez has proven quality. Just because he got outclassed Vs the best around in floyd (+ being almost 2 divisions above where he was) doesnt mean he should be discounted..... he could easily give khan a torrid 12 rounds

Nacho's concern is not in JMM's abilities but the size factor and the fact that JMM will be exploited to showcase Khan.

Why would he be confident with his fighter facing Khan at a weight he is not effective at and giving away height, reach, size and years??this is not a reflection on JMMs ability or the threat Khan poses to him, this is about JMMs trainer saying he doesn't think his fighter should be used to make Khan look good in a mismatch fight.Khan should be playing with the big boys, namely,Maidana.

Not really ducking in that after that fight his competitive career could be over. Marquez can beat Khan but the risk reward does not make sense. Marquez came off a loss and needs a win in order to generate more interest in him. Besides I rather see him fight Valero in September.
He fought Floyd and went 12 rounds under tough circumstances-- so I don't think it would be proper to say he is ducking Khan.

Risk vs reward. Khan is a ****ing nobody. JMM is a somebody. Thats where it ends.

But hasn't it gone on record that Marquez and his team want to go to 140? In an attempt to capture a world title in a 4th weight class?

JMM Has 0 to gain from this fight. I think stylistically he could manage to win against Khan, but another fight for his body to go through with nothing more than another putdown of a prospect doesn't seem like a smart move. Marquez cannot prove himself or his legacy winning or losing to a junior welterweight.

Nacho NEVER said he couldn't win, only that he needed time to recover, and that he didn't want to be used as a stepping stone- which, as I said, win or lose, would be the case; this fight would do nothing for Marquez and he is clearly being used as simply "someone to potentially make Khan famous." **** that, as a fighter you don't want to be used for someone else's interest, especially if you're someone as elite as Marquez. This is not a duck, just a decision. Do fighters now have to say yes to every prospective fight, regardless of whether or not it benefits them?

Oscars trying to hoe JMM out again and Nacho sees right thru his panties. I doubt GBP would let JMM walk away with a decision win.

Khan could always drop down to 135 if he really wants the fight, it's not as if he hasn't fought at that weight recently.

Khan cant make that weight anymore, 135 will drain the **** out of him.

Maybe, but I would go as far as to say, them both fighting at 135 is fairer match than them both fighting at 140. I believe JMM is pushing it even at 135

So it's alright for Khan to get Marquez all bloated out of his comfort zone in regards to weight but it's not alright for Khan to drain out of his comfort zone?:huh
