Who else would love to see Khan Marquez? I would love to see Khan just hopelessly outclass Marquez.

Could'nt help but notice the great amount of uppercuts that Maidana landed on Khan.......

I wonder who is the uppercut King of boxing?:yep

...Well, the small puncher's chance he'd have had now looks that much smaller...Too bad Urango fought Devon or Marquez would get that coveted fourth.

Oh, why I hadn't read the initial post thoroughly on account of drunkenness but allow me to say that winning because you're much bigger and younger does not constitute outclassing. Khan is unable to out "class" Marquez because he's nowhere near Marquez's class as a fighter by any evidence that I've seen. He'd simply out-gun him. That's not the same thing as outclassing. Put Marquez and Khan as the same size and age and you have a dead Khan, I'm thinking.

    So:

    No way.

Big JMM fan so dont want to see him lose to someone who wouldnt beat him in his prime at a weight they shouldnt be at.

    Like Khan though.

Khan would do well early on, but Marquez is too accurate and too good of a finisher to lose thise one.

Marquez's trainer has already admitted Khan is too big, too good for Marquez.

Khan didn't outclass a slugger, he won't outclass a counterpuncher. Difficult fight in which he has an edge, but if he can't school Maidana, he won't school Marquez.

Right, because Marquez is chinnier than Maidana and Salita.

Its an interesting matchup to say the least........

Khan has all the physical advantages just as Mayweather had on Marquez.....size, reach, quickness, speed, and youth on his side........

......but besides real boxing skill, there are some intangibles on Marquez' side that cant be measured.

......Marquez accuracy and timing is eons above the level of Khan.
......Marquez' abiility to set his shots up I believe would have Khan running into much more precise and accurate shots than what he ran into against Maidana.

......and then the one monumental thing that give me confidence as a Marquez fan, is that Khan lost a significant ammount of steam down the stretch of the fight......

I had Maidana winning 5 out of the last 7 rounds.
......and one thing is for certain.....Marquez hurting Khan down the stretch of the fight is pure doom for Khan.
Marquez is too accurate a puncher not to have finished Khan in the way Maidana had him hurt.

Marquez hurts Khan, he finishes him. On the flipside, that cant be said of anyone that hurts Marquez, as Marquez has the resiliency to ride a tough situation through.

This would be a great matchup though......but if I'm JMM, I would give Freddie Roach and Alex Ariza payback for what they've ridiculed Marquez about overpricing himself vs Pacquiao.........

Khan wants a piece of Marquez, he gets what Manny Pacquiao is offering Marquez, 10%.

I'm certain Khan wont fight Marquez for 10% of the take!
........offering 10% to Khan would be ridiculous I know, but one ridiculous offer deserves another.:yep

Well he's been down more times against smaller fighters than them combined.

Khan is too big for him. Just because Pac's gone up and made beating up bigger men look easy, doesn't mean automatically Marquez will be able to do it. He would not have gone back to 135 after Mayweather if he thought he could legitimately compete above 140. It would have made more sense him fighting at 140 as it would've legitimized his chances of a third Pac fight. Too bad he's not as deluded as some of his fans.
