One thing about Khan, he starts off great and disciplined but as the fight goes on and he gets tired he is sloppy as all hell and all over the place. Totally different fighter. He is a front runner like Judah.
Khan wins clearly, he's an awful style matchup for Marquez. Let me be clear though, I think Marquez is the better fighter. Khan would use his feet, he fights at range now and has learned to do so very well, I think he UD's Marquez clearly, something like 116-112.
Styles make fights. It's so weird when you look at how Marquez looked vs. Diaz and then looked versus Pacquiao. Toss-up for me.
unfortunately khan by UD 116-112, JMM doesn't need this fight, JMM>Khan P4P, but khan is to big and fast.
Very interesting fight. Khan has a big size, speed and youth advantage, so the initial reaction is to think that he'd beat JMM without too much problem, JMM being a blown-up FW. But Marquez thrives on sloppy fighters, and Khan is very sloppy. I could see JMM catching Khan late and putting him to sleep. I could also see Khan using his height and reach and jabbing his way to a UD. I'd like to see this fight at 140.
Khan on points win, Khan would have to stick to the outside and use his reach. plus Im sure the pacman would offer some advice against Marquez.
I think JMM can get a points win; his Ring IQ is far superior, and while Khan has incredible advantages, the way he lunges (similar to Pcaquiao) will allow Marquez as the smaller man to duck under and find himself inside of Khan, and attack his body before going upstairs from under with uppercuts and combinations. After blitzing Marquez for the first few rounds, the fight starts evening out, and Marquez's superior offense to Khan's defense starts to show. If Khan complimented his height and out-boxing style with more professional timing, then his jab would be quite the challenge for Marquez (more than it already would be). Since he's clearly out-matched in terms of timing, however, I see him becoming too predictable as he rushes in to throw his frantic flurries.
Khan has the right style to beat Marquez. Long as he sticks to the outside and controls with fast jabs. Wouldn't come close to stopping Marquez in my opinion.
Make it at 135, Marquez stops him, Marquez just beat the greatest fighter in the world, a fighter Mayweather was not willing to fight without PED's. Marquez fought Pac PED's and all, and still schooled him and clearly beat him to become the greatest fighter in the world.
