Yeah course, Khan is well known and Floyd made his name only by fighting popular fighters, not the best fighters.
Mayweather-Khan in O2 Arena. Might have to provide security for Mayweather if the Brits act like they did when Hagler-Minter happened.
the crowd that day were inexcusable. times have changed though (in the most part). plus look at how many black heavyweight champions we have/have had from the uk since then. Also floyd has a big fan base here [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1nnFd-OG60[/ame] i was there that day and there was thousands of people outside the gym aswell, black, white and asian
one thing to take note of aswell, is that minter sparked the abuse by saying that he would not lose his title to a black guy.... something i recall similarly being said by bernard hopkins a few years ago when asked about the possibility of losing to calzaghe. but im not condoning what the british fans did, it was disgusting. but plenty of americans have fought on these shores since
Mayweather/Khan is a more respectable fight than Pacquiao/Margraito is. Don't get me wrong this is not a fight that is worth getting excited about. However if Khan beats Maidana and the winner of Bradley/Alexander it becomes a much more intresting fight. However as a stand a lone fight when you compare Mayweather/Khan to Pacquiao/Margarito. Mayweather/Khan is the more respectable fight.
Floyd's next super fight after he beats emmanuel will be Khan. Anyone with a brain knows Khan isn't even ready for Floyd yet, but look at all the waves this business idea is making.
there is definitely a heck of a lot of money to be made, right now the UK fans would eat it up, probably not the americans at much. it would probably be a similar fight to calzaghe vs lacy (despite khan having a title) a proven champion vs the upcoming hype. i could see the outcome being similar, mayweather outclassing khan as calzaghe did with lacy, so give it a year and khan might have improved enough to give mayweather a challenge
