Just curious if anyone out there actually believes that Khan can beat Floyd Mayweather Jr.?

If anyone does I'm curious as to how, why, and what if any serious MAOI medications you're taking. Thanks.

I'll add a poll because well everyone loves em :D

He would probably lose, but he has a better chance than anyone out there besides Pacquiao. It's hard to see anyone outboxing PBF, but he's definitely slowed down a couple gears since his best days

    it's possible.

I voted for Mayweather as I believe he would KO Khan in the most epic fashion possible..probably early to middle rounds...It would probably beat out the Hatton KO.

    It's a terrible matchup.

Unless Khan has this god-like improvement, or Mayweather drastically declines overnight, Khan gets his ass kicked.

Khan is very unrefined technically and has so many flaws. People just get excited over speed that they ignore everything else. People have actually said he has great footwork, just because he has fast feet.

Mayweather gets bashed a lot for his opposition level. Sometimes it is justified and sometimes it is not. In this case, it would be totally justified.

What reason do you have for choosing Khan?

What give Amir Khan the advantage in this matchup in you opinion?

****ers vote and hide but its a public poll. Real bitches

hell, i think Maidina beats Khan in 15 rounds in the first fight or in a rematch, let alone Mayweather.

I respect Khan, he gets a lot of stick - noone is perfect. But the fact is his defence is suspect and his chin is a major flaw. Why on earth people start rating Khan's chin is beyond me. He survived, yes, credit where it's due, but he is still very chinny. Anyone with half a punch starts with a good chance against him, and anyone with a good skillset, ie Mayweather, annihilates him.

I agree. It became apparent that whoever kills Khan will have to have at least average boxing skill and ability to get to him.

I really only see Mayweather crushing Khan in epic fashion from a well timed punch that lands squarely on the chin. There go the legs, eyes similar to the man to your left..

    Actually I don't think he's lying there...

Not to stray off topic but if they ever fight people will be amazed at how early Manny gets KTFO. It will be beautiful.

As far as pure boxing ability Pac isn't on the list. Khan by contrast does have some skill. More than Pac but nowhere near as much as Mayweather. Oh and Khan has a **** chin.

For an idea of what a good boxer does to Manny Pacquiao watch the 2nd Marquez fight then watch Marquez-Mayweather and you get an idea of how far out of Mayweathers league Manny Pacquiao really is.

I think Khan had the raw potential to maybe beat Mayweather in a year and a half to two. Now its become a potential big fight but Khan is still too green and Roach is gone. Mayweather wins by ko.
