Khan needs to prove he can take a shot from a top welterweight before facing Mayweather???

In all fairness i dont think Khan is in Mayweather's league he is far from it, Ortiz thought he was in Mayweather's league and look what happened to him.
Khan has a weak chin a hell of alot weaker then Ortiz's and even Hatton's if he gets caught with a clean shot he is out.
    What do you guys think?

Khan could never hang with Mayweather.. but Ortiz got dropped like a sack of **** when Maidana landed on him... so that theory is out the window.

Khan gets beaten BADLY by Mayweather ofcourse

I think Amir just wants to get beat up by Mayweather to cash out. Amir isn't even that great of a fighter, not a HOF lock by any means, but keeps talking about how he wants to retire at 25. He still young and gets fat enough in between fights to grow a pair of tits like a girl going through puberty.

You have to question his commitment to the fight game as a boxing fan.

The talk of retiring is bs lol, he wanted to be the youngest ever British world champ at one point remember... that didnt pan out

25? Isn't that at the end of the year for Khan? I think he said 28. Khan isn't on Floyd's level. You can't beat Floyd being one dimensional.

If he fights him now or after one more fight the result will be be the same. he wants a payday like the rest.

    Cash out? :patsch

Amir got $2M+ for his fight versus Judah.

Ortiz got $2.5M for his fight vs Mayweather.

Fat enough in between fights? Is that why he weighed 149 pounds the other day?

And he didn't say retire at 25. Get your **** right :patsch

I think Khan really believes he would beat Mayweather, as he should as a world class fighter.

Khan would of course get taken to school, but I don't think he wants Floyd solely for a payday.

yea your right he just wants to be the best fighter of his division and live up to his talk and hype but he should think of considering of lesser opponents because Mayweather will just pick him apart before knocking him out.

Who do you think Amir will fight for his first bout @ 147?

I see Mayweather-Amir happening next year for sure.

At 147 id like to see him fight Berto or even Ortiz to see how he does id rather see them fights then him vs Mayweather to see if he is worthy of facing him, What do you think?

I know Floyd is running out of options other than the obvious that he SHOULD fight, but this fight can't be made. No 24/7 could ever persuade me otherwise. Hopefully Amir will improve in the next few years. I just can't see anyone other than Khan's family and friends paying for that PPV.

I think Bertoe would be a good welterweight debut for Amir.

Bertoe is a fast orthodox fighter, so he would prepare Amir for Floyd better than Ortiz. Ortiz is a come forward southpaw.

I have a feeling Golden Boy is saving Ortiz for a showdown with Rios in the future. Oscar must see the Rios-Ortiz beef and think it's the made in Mexico dollar store version of Oscar-Vargas.

Mayweather and Pacquiao do good PPV numbers nowadays against pretty much anyone.

I see people buying Mayweather-Khan for sure. America's best fighter is fighting outside ouf America for the first time.

They would do well in the UK too. Last time Floyd fought a UK guy he set a new record for UK numbers.
