Would sky pay the same figure for it knowing ur not there?

Why not go and claim it back on expenses from Team Khan?

i disagree, he'll be able to put on body fat no hassle but his body wont adapt sufficiently in ten weeks to put on effective weight

I wouldn't worry about the crowd trouble. I imagine there will be an increase in security.

Everyone seems to be assuming it's Murray but I think it's going to be not what people are expecting.

Team Khan need to secure a deal fast. Khan flies out on Feb 10th. Leaves them about a Week and a half to secure an opponent. Ideally, they you be announcing it on Monday/Tuesday.

Word is abound they are announcing the opponent on Monday. Which indicates to me they had a back up option(s) in place if the Mccloskey talks went sour.

It's not just that. I don't like long journey's and I'm not too excited about Murray. Khan would beat him to a pulp in my opinion.

Who do you think, Box? :think

I heard Marquez, but he won't come to the UK, surely.

Peterson's demands were $600,000. I mean, sure he'll come lower, but will he cut to nearly half that? I'm not so sure.

It'll be a good fight for the future. Right now, it's the last thing Khan needs.

Well, I would have thought they wouldn't pay Peterson. But if they really did offer Mccloskey around 300K-350K.. then the leap to 380K ($600K) isn't that huge. This would be my preferred fight and it's better for his career and US exposure.

Marquez.. Yeah, not a chance as the powers that be would only allow Khan Vs Marquez in Vegas due to the size of it, doing it here is throwing money away that could be earned doing it properly.

Murray.. I think it would be great promotion for boxing.. because if they go all out, which I assume SKY would, it could cross over to your casual sports fans and could be absolutely huge. Not quite Haye-Audley, but maybe 400-500K buys, which would be phenomenal for Khan. The fight itself... Khan inside 3-4 rounds, although I'd probably change my mind nearer the time

He wasn't attempting to make Khan jealous. He was indicating that Khan isn't the only route for them to take for a world title shot.

Murray is not a big lightweight.
